Their chemistry gets more intense the more the show goes. I can't wait to see your reaction for next week's episodes. What I love about this show is how much the characters grow and change slowly but also without having a complete personality change. Their core traits are always the same but their priorities, perspective and responsibilities change with time and experience. I also love that there is a rich tapestry of history that is not there for decoration or manufactured tension. It is weaved in to showcase their life and their growth, not just the main couple, but all the characters in the drama.

After watching several of Namgoong Min’s works, I see him as one of the best actors in South Korea, and he is good in every genre, comedy, drama, and action. He definitely deserves all the awards he has accumulated so far. And Ahn Eun-jin, with only a few years in her career, has already proven that she has everything it takes to become an acting legend. My Dearest is a drama that is already wonderful on its own, but the acting and chemistry of the protagonists definitely contributed a lot to the story becoming the success that it was.

my most favorite episode of all time in Kdramas! The first time I watched episode 7, I couldn't move on, i watched it all night...the green barley scene!! The last scene is the poster for Part 1! I loved that scene so much I wanted to do a painting for it...bought a set, brushes and everything(i don't even know how to paint haha) I was so obsessed with it lol

i just realised the conversation they had when they saw each other again in front of Usimjeong is repeated in Ep10(hopefully you've watched it by now)! In Ep7….only their eyes did the talking….pride held back their words. Ep7 J: Did you wait for me? G: Nuga? Ep10 G: I was here, I never left!… J: You really waited for me! Ep 7 G: By Chance, did we meet in the island? J: What Island.?… Ep 10. J: It was me, I was the one who saved you in the island. What they held back because of pride...they confessed in tears in Ep10!

Yeonjun...i've been waiting for the day you guys would see through his weak ass! He liked Gilchae, but did not like the fact that she had all the Neuggunri men tripping over each for her! And he lived off of the fact theat Gilchae pined after him....that's the only reason why he brought up what Soonyak said! He was expecting Gilchae to plead with him one last time and when she did not...,he brought up what Soonyak had said, how I wish Janghyun gave him a beating!
