Wow!!! You are really spreading yourself thin to please your patreons!!! That's really sweet of you and it's really appreciated. I follow a few channels and subscrib to them on and off but your channel is really on another level ❤️

Nabi

OMG yesssss!!!

cinnamonroll

you guys are watching this too? i haven't watch this drama yet, and honestly i am not really interested in it. but now that even you guys are watching this, maybe i should give it a try too. looks interesting

Birdy

Ohooo that's such a lovely and nice surprise, thank you for that 💗

Yuri ⋆｡°✩

The Director of this drama is known for making his historical dramas and actors look EXTRA BEAUTIFUL. He is truly incredible at that, that's why the shots are so beautiful, and the actors look unreal.

Yuri ⋆｡°✩

The fml actor actually carried the ml many times on her back, she may look tiny and skinny, and but she is quite strong in real life, full of muscles.

Inna in the world 🌸

OMG!!!! I'm so happy you're giving this Cdrama a try. Just a heads up, Cdramas aren't for everyone, some people find the action scenes and editing style a bit too much, but honestly it just takes a few episodes to get used to it and after that you end up appreciating and enjoy the variety of genres you can find in Cdramas. I hope this new beginning of watching Cdramas is a pleasant one for you, I'll for sure stick around to see you guys fall into the world of Cdramas.

Kate

his looks don't matter, but luckily he's super hot. Also Koreans eat food like that all the time! Trotters, snouts, sundae, gopchang. Nothing goes to waste tbh

Rubyjane

omg omg, my newest crush Zhang Linghe. Fell for him after watching the best thing. i was planning to watch this for a long time

Nabi

Exacly what I wanted to say. The actors are beautiful in real life but this director gives everyone and everything an extra glow.

Lani S

OMG! I resubbed for this. @Harris you dolt! I didn’t think you would pick this up so quickly! Thank you, thank you!

Seelia

Wow...I'm shocked. 😂 You guys were so stubborn about Cdramas and even your poll didn't help, but now there's 2 on this channel! I'm gonna need a min...to put my thoughts together before more comments. 😍😂

Seelia

He was so good in The Best Thing and he is even better in this one! Hold on tight to your ❤!

Yuri ⋆｡°✩

She's def made it to my Queen list. She's so Ethereal and Badass, easily one of my most favourite fml character.

Seelia

🤣😂I'm still in shock!

Yuri ⋆｡°✩

Also a weird fun(?) fact, the character Song yan (changyu's ex) face is AI. The original actor who played him, was in a bl drama, which is a NO in China, but by that time shooting was completed, so they replaced his face with another actor with the help of AI.

Lost_IRL

lets goooo!!!

Seelia

😂 Well, they got us! You recovered fast cuz I'd be adding a gazillion comments by now but this really surprised me into no words.... yet. 😂

Yuri ⋆｡°✩

Trust me I was gonna too but had to take a moment to breathe and quickly dive into the reaction 😂 It's gonna be fun, let's enjoy this 😆🤍

Lani S

@Harris, I feel you. I'm a straight girl but I'm as in love with the FL as the ML. That doesn't usually happen. I have a feeling by the end of the series, she'll end up in your queens list. It's been a couple of weeks since I watched this show and I'm still not over it. Aside from subscribing to my favorite reactors that have decided to pick this up, I'm reading the English translation of the novel. Just not ready to move on from the world of PoJ!

Shay Peart

I was not expecting this, it's a wonderful surprise. This is one of my fav cdrama.

Yuri Guzmán

Ya era tiempo de un cambio; de agregar más variedad; que bueno que decidieron darle una oportunidad a los cdramas; gracias! Gracias! Gracias! 🙏🏻

Seelia

Ok it's real. You guys are watching Pursuit. 😅 Keep in mind, Cdramas are longer so they'll have a ton of characters! Even some of the side characters will have whole story arcs themselves. They follow a lot of the same tropes also but in my opinion, this one was done well. POJ did a really good job with character building. Especially this one, it's female led heavy character driven. You might find yourself with more than one Queen by the end. 😅 The music for this drama is also some of the best. The lyrics are only available on the IQIYI version and not on Netflix.

Kermen

how come I missed this, ahahah I can't believe, you are guys reacting to Pursuit in jade! Thank you ))

Helena Hendrixson

Heck yes! I’m rewatching this drama with as many reactors as I can. I love it that much 😅

Jennie04

Wow guys I freaking LOVE YOUUUUUUUUU😭😭😭🥹🤍

nibi Life

Yay!! You guys ventured to C-dramas!! P.S: Song Yan’s face was AI’d due to controversy with the real actor who acted in it before the launch. You’ll get used to it! ☺️ And yes!! The director is famous for his love for snow scenes and scenematic shots!!! Keep in mind that this is an Idol drama thus, everyone is portrayed beautifully like in a webtoon/manga. 😊

Seelia

It's been a long week guys and not even Friday yet. The next week will also be so long...I can feel it. So I had no option but to rewatch this video. 😂 Let me clarify some small details. If you look again, not everyone is bullying Changyu. The only person doing it is Grandma Kang. People with big mouths always sound like half the village. Her former fiance broke off the engagement cuz her parents died. Not because rumors are saying she was born under an unlucky star etc. His mom don't want him with her anymore cuz they are trying to climb the social ladder and she is now an orphan, they won't be able to gain from her status any longer. The falcon is a puppet. 😅 I watched a behind the scenes. The flying is probably cgi but the interactions with the actors, it's a puppet being controlled by someone. Here's a Tang Dynasty class system these types of dramas follow. (Copy/paste btw) 😂 The Elite (Aristocracy and Scholar-Officials): At the top, the society was dominated by hereditary aristocrats and high-ranking officials who derived power from family background, education, and bureaucratic positions. The Tang maintained a nine-rank official system to classify officials into 30 levels. Peasantry (Nong): Making up the bulk of the population, farmers were ranked highly in Confucian ideals but were the primary tax base. They operated under an equal-field system, where the state allotted land for agricultural production and taxed them through grain, cloth, and labor. Artisans (Gong): Ranked below farmers, artisans were skilled laborers who produced goods for the state and local economies. Merchants (Shang): Officially, merchants were at the bottom of the "four occupations" due to their perceived role as parasites who did not create goods, despite often having significant wealth. Base People (Jianmin): A social class below the four occupations, including slaves, musicians, actors, and prostitutes, who performed "polluting" tasks. Social Mobility: Early Tang, to roughly 650 CE, was heavily dominated by aristocratic families. However, after 650, the Imperial Examination System (Keju) expanded, allowing men to gain high status through passing exams rather than just inherited pedigree, leading to the gradual decline of the traditional aristocracy.

Yuri ⋆｡°✩

Lol i just came to re-watch, the week is too long.

Seelia

😂 Way too long!

Seelia

🤣😂I know! Wish it was! Nah, I'm not complaining at you guys, I'm complaining for us viewers cuz it's been a long ass week! 😂 Hey, I'm sure I speak for many when I say we are happy you guys even started the show! We are excited for you two to finally see how wonderful these characters are! They are definitely my favorite couple right now! And maybe for a long time. 😍

Sanill Bernales

Aish

OMG!!!! I am so glad you are doing POJ! I had once recommended another c drama and someone said u wont do it! I am glad, you guys will love it!!!!! Here for the ride!!!!! Zhang Ling he and Tian xiwei are beautiful ! All cast here is beautiful!!!!

Florina Niko

Your reactions really screams guys😂she was nervous when they first had visual contact because he is very good looking, not because she didn't know who he was, the same with her lying about being delicate, she wanted to be seen as a gentle girl by him.
