i don’t even like superhero shows but i loved this one. i get the humor might not land for some and i was a little annoyed by the two guys at first too but i grew fond of them after a while and honestly i love the goofiness of it all! i got chaeni from the first ep tho i think she’s adorable and we need more quirky female leads like this! eunwoo did great in the emotional scenes here i agree! he’s a victim of getting typecast as the stoic male lead so i always figured he performed based on what the script called for even in true beauty and other dramas but i do notice some improvements. anyways this was fun cant wait for s2 !

see, if you want to witness eunwoo actually smiling, laughing and being a whole ray of sunshine for once, *rookie historian* is THE recommendation, although i have a feeling that's just not yall's type. there's also *island*, which had potential but the drama was honestly just NOT it, and *decibel*, which would otherwise be a solid recommendation if it weren't for lee jongsuk being in it because of harris' beef with him lol. my man just keeps picking the most nonchalant, cold and downright miserable characters, and somehow those dramas end up getting more popular than the rest. 😭 but all in all, i genuinely enjoyed this drama for what it was. such an easy, feel-good watch and the perfect de-stresser to put on anytime, with anyone. definitely one of my favourites this year.
