Thank you for reacting to it! I'm glad you liked it. I completely understand why it's not the kind of show you'd want to rewatch. For me, though, it can be quite cathartic. Sometimes, when I'm sad but don't necessarily want to cry about my own life, it gives me an outlet to cry over someone else's struggles. It can also be grounding and remind me to be grateful for my life while feeling empathy for others' suffering. Even when I feel like my life is full of struggles, there's always someone out there who might have it even tougher, yet they're still hanging in there and doing their best to find joy and happiness in the little moments. And beyond that, the writing, the cast, and the acting in this drama are all top-tier. It really doesn't get any better than this. Fun fact: The drama had three directors, one of whom also directed Moon Lovers (the one who seems to enjoy extreme close-up shots just a tad too much 😂). It was also filmed during COVID, which explains why the crew members were wearing masks. So that final message was actually a message of hope at a time when everyone was feeling pretty hopeless.
