becca

oh marry my husband is super good. I hope you get to watch that.

Nae

Marry my husband 1st. Then go down the list because we want them all 😅

Astra

Oh true beauty is on there? Sign me up

Astra

These are all amazing choices

Kermen

please watch reply 1988 and hometown cha cha cha

Becca L

Strong Girl Bong Soon is so funny 🤣 Any chance you can put the KDrama "Hwarang" into the next poll? It stars Park SeoJoon (Saeroyi in Itaewon Class), Park HyungSik (Strong Girl Bong Soon) and V from BTS... fun fact.. they are all now best friends in real life since they met during the filming. It is a historical/action/comedy/drama/mystery...

meenoi

Hope you can add scarlet heart ryeo into next poll please

Seelia

Ooo...good choices! I've seen all but the two new ones. I haven't really set aside alone time so I can pay attention. 😂

Seelia

Really love Reply 1988 & True Beauty though. Marry My Husband has that one cousin that Harris hates...🤣😂🤣

T.S.

Strong Woman Do Bong-soon

NakoleXo

True Beauty absolute fave. If it doesn't make it, I hope you will get around to it eventually

𝓲𝓻𝓲𝓮 ⋆୨୧˚

True beauty is a romcom classic 😂 hope it pulls thru if not I'm okay with the other choices

thinkofview

True Beauty is another drama that has another wjsn (cosmic girls) member in it (her name is Dayoung) the drama is pretty funny tbh 😂

Rosie El

reply 1988!! ah my comfort show :D

Minnie

18 again also is a nice drama. timetravel genre

Flora

Still hoping for a day where 'Mr Sunshine' is chosen! Not sure if it will even ever end up on a poll, but love the mix we have here in this one.

I love Park Min Young! I don't think she's been in a really good drama since Healer and What's Wrong With Secretary Kim.

Habiba

Still hoping for our beloved summer even though I love marry my husband and wouldn't have ne problem watching again now. Harris will probably have another queen added to his list. She is fabulous!

Olga Gil

Mina

Guys, if you guys vote on a drama but it’s nowhere near others, can you vote for one of the top three or four instead?

히읗

I heard True Beauty is fun

Snax

damn. so many good ones gonna lose out to mid. i would also recommend, no, beg you, to please watch the reply series in order of release, if you're going to watch them at all. i don't know why 88 has so much hype, but 97 is the og and the best, which is why it produced 2 spin offs. 88 has some of the cringiest acting from hyeri and a really poor love line between the actors. EDIT TO ADD: the reason i ask you to watch the reply's in order of release is because they make references to the previous seasons and if you start chronologically, you won't catch all if any of the references.

the acting in that is so horrible. which is a bummer because most of the actors are good. the script is cringe and female lead is a low tier actor. it unfortunately is a great example of the stereotype that idol actors are crap. the only exception would be hyungsik.

wah! Reply 88 is one of the most watched dramas in Korea. Literally a classic. I'll tell u why the hype... it wasn't just about the love story! 88 was about family, youth, growing up and the year 1988(for Koreans). If u only watched it for the love line then I see why you thought it was mid. And Hyeri was excellent as Dukseon. Her role as Dukseon literally changed the trajectory of her career. 97 was great. 94 was mid. But with 88, the reply team had mastered the art and gave us a classic. I would love the guys to watch 97 as well. but I don't see them enjoying a show with a love triangle between a teacher and a teenager

okinawa
>>129684509

there's no need to watch the reply series in order! 94 was the only mid drama of the series and would be a waste of time

okinawa

I'm so happy to see Reply 88 getting more votes, over time. Hopefully one day it makes it

i mean, hyeri is literally criticized for her poor acting in every drama she is in....none of them are as successful as 88 and that's mainly because it had a franchise behind it. to be fair, i think she acted her best in that show. as i think go ara acted her best in 94. they are barely watchable in their other dramas. eunji was the best female lead out of the three, and seo in guk the best male lead. bo gum is a close second though. 88 may focus on family bonds more, but that's no excuse for the poor chemistry between the leads. it's the same with vincenzo. don't try to pair the leads up when they share no romantic chemistry. have them become close friends if you must give them reason to be together. but when you portray any kind of romantic relationship, chemistry is the key to making it believable. and fyi, i'm korean. your insinuation that i may not have enjoyed it because i didn't understand it is insulting. but thank you.

Hailie

For next time you guys got to include My Mister with IU in it it soooo goood. It’s such an amazing drama.

Lina

You definitely should watch ALL reply series 🙏 you will like it

Lydia
>>129824678

I just rewatched Hwarang about a week ago lol. I was surprised to enjoy it even more on second watch.

jieunah

anything but SWBS, I get that the leads are a popular couple, but is it just me? cuz personally I find the drama problematic and the plot just doesn’t hit, feel like both of them won’t enjoy the over the top humour as well. Also sucks that new shows are added cuz takes away the votes for older dramas that always make it to the poll and never get a chance like our beloved summer, it always gets mentioned in the comments a lot too, hope it gets the vote, come on 2521 watchers, if you haven’t voted, go for beloved, sacrificed my vote last poll for it to win!

Lina

Please vote for reply1988 🙏😭😭

Somy
>>129977654

Exactly what I wanted to say! I have been recommending Our beloved summer since I became a member. The show truly deserves a chance especially now that I know that they enjoyed 2521.

Astra
>>129977654

Yeah that’s why I changed my voted to our beloved. 😭

Lina
>>129999917

maybe there should be separate polls for older dramas 🥲

Meg

yall anything but SWBS pls what is the obssesion with that show , we know they wont enjoy it either...

Infinite Ree
>>130088043

it's really not good, but I guess some ppl like it. I would even prefer Weightlifting Fairy

Genevieve
>>130088043

Exactly. This should be about shows we think Harris and Justin will enjoy. Because at the end of the day, if they're not into it, it's to no one's advantage.

Sam

SWBS is not that great of a drama in my opinion ... plz don't react to that ... i too think u guys wont enjoy it much

Janet Michelle

Guys....I agree with many others. Especially after Death's Game and 2521 and Alchemy of Souls this is not the one to watch. I completely understand if you'l do it since the poll says to, but I'd greatly suggest maybe 1 more poll with the first 4 options and let us vote on that one? If it wins again...watch that definitely, but the other 3 are much more in your wheelhouse/what I think you'd like.

Janet Michelle

After seeing what you like Reply 1988, Our Beloved Summer, While You Were Sleeping, Goblin, Prison Playbook, MOUSEEE, Signal!!, Dr. Romantic (the name is a little silly, but it's a 3 season great show), Hospital Playlist, At A Distance Spring is Green (main character from Weak Hero is the lead), Healer, Taxi Driver, Big Mouth, Strangers From Hell, Extracurricular...these all seem much more your style and some are longer and some are 8-10 episodes.

Janet Michelle
>>129999917

Yeah I asked them to do a 2nd poll with the top 4 shows and maybe then we can get a drama they'll like.

Lani S

If I may offer a suggestion, it might be better to allow multiple votes on a poll to get a better feel for what people like. Each of us has different faves and of course, we will vote for those faves. But another person's fave could also be a close 2nd or 3rd. Or another option is to publish some parameters for voting. As another poster said, it's not fun to watch a reaction where the reactor is not into it and most of the time rolling their eyes. If you start a poll, start with asking for recommendations based on some criteria that fit your taste. Then people vote on those. Personally, my taste in kdrama goes up and down. Sometimes, I want to watch something light, just for the entertainment factor, sometimes I want to watch something with more substance, or something in between. Sometimes I'm craving for fantasy, sometimes slice of life, etc.
