Hunger whispers its relentless plea, A constant companion in poverty's sea.

Gentle hands, meant for holding, now flinch, Love's soft words replaced by anger's pinch. 

Tears, like rivers, carve paths on tender skin, A testament to battles, never meant to win.

Forgotten whispers in the bustling crowd, Childhood dreams, once bright, now shrouded by a cloud. 

Each day a struggle, each night a longer fight, In search of a dawn, within the endless night.

Yet, within these eyes, a flicker of hope resides, A stubborn spirit, where resilience abides. 

For even in the darkest corners of despair, Lies the strength to endure, to conquer, to repair.
