Very amazing show even bad ending! Another sad point is in the ED where we can see Michan and Koichi taking beers... (it means that's not memories, but Michan's imagination)

Was an amazing series, even if it was sad. I think it was well worth the tears shed. The ED is so bittersweet because it shows what could’ve been, but never happened since Koichi died. I think your next Japanese series, 飴色パラドックス(Candy Color Paradox), will be a happy one. But I agree, with the other shows you are currently watching, Never Let Me Go and Till The World Ends for example, you will definitely still need tissues for them.
