I don’t mind open endings, but not for Seol Dongbaek and the Director. They went through so much over the last 300 years only for it to be taken away once again by the psychotic narcissistic Denis. I liked the series overall, but the ending was a bit poor in my opinion. Yes we can speculate that Seol Dongbaek and the Director eventually became close again, but I would’ve liked a more concrete ending. Not enough character development or character background either. So we’re left with a lot of unanswered questions. Unfortunately, this is often the case with Korean BLs though since they are always too short. Thank you for your reactions as always, LadyJaiz!
