A little late to respond to this, but I wanted to say that you are correct. Johnny can and does feel everything (including physical) that V feels. I've played through the game once and remember it being a major plot point with how the engram in V's head works. Also, this is such an accurate depiction of how Johnny would respond in a situation like this after finally caving in.

It's such a good game! Depending on if you played it prior to the release of the Phantom Liberty DLC, they overhauled the skill trees a lot. I keep wanting to play through it again, but I've already got too many games in my backlog to get through.
