Progress Report - Week of 2024/06/02 (Patreon)

Hello, all! Good progress on the video this week (insofar as, you know, it's done). Nothing much else to talk about! Let's get going!

FRIEREN: BEYOND JOURNEY'S END: New video's done! It was released on Patreon a few days ago and just premiered on Youtube. I'm very happy with it, and I hope you all enjoyed it. The editing went pretty smoothly, aside from having to rerecord a couple of bits of the narration as I came up with funnier jokes during video editing.

GAME HANGOUT: We did a hangout! Played Splitgate with a couple of people and watched a few episodes of Hanebado at Cheeto's request. We don't usually watch anime that aren't actively being released during these hangouts, and it was a nice change of pace. Thanks for the recommendation!

RESEARCH: On Saturday, I got started on research for the new video by watching Undead Unluck! But now that I go back and check the poll, it seems like Apothecary Diaries is actually winning! So I have no idea what to do! From here on out, polls are going to close on the day the new video premiers on Youtube, which will make things easier for everyone. For now, I'm going to keep watching Undead Unluck (since I committed to watching it with a friend), but if Apothecary Diaries is still winning by tomorrow, I'll watch it, too. No real harm done.

MISCELLANEOUS: I had a couple of odds and ends that needed doing. My giant repository of PNG images was getting cluttered and needed organizing, so I did that on Wednesday. I also negotiated a couple of sponsorships (one of which I'm pretty stoked about).

And that's about it! Go watch the new video if you haven't seen it already, and remember to vote in the poll! Preferably for Undead Unluck, but that's your call!
