Progress Report: Week of 2019/01/13 (Patreon)

Hey hey hey!  ExPoint here with your weekly dose of progress updates.  This one was late again, and I apologize for that, but I think you can guess what happened, considering a video was released on the main channel!  The Ravnica Allegiance prerelease this weekend kind of screwed with my work schedule near the end of the week, but I did still manage to make good progress on the next main channel video in spite of that.

 EXPLANATION POINT:

Happy Sugar Life: A Study in Sympathy [RELEASED]:  It's done!  After a few months' worth of waiting, we finally have a new main channel video.  This was also the first time I've tested out the Youtube Premier setting, since that was released between the time last video uploaded and now.  I'm probably going to be doing that more in the future, since it both lets people know that there's a video coming and gives them a chance to watch the anime if they haven't already, but let me know what you think about it in the comments here.

What Should You Watch From: Winter 2019 [ON-SCHEDULE]:  I'm doing something a little bit different for my next video.  I always really enjoyed doing the Weebcast every season with Geoff, but since that's on indefinite hiatus now, I decided to make my own Weebcast with funny pictures and black backgrounds.  This is a typical season overview video where I'll go over every show that came out this season and basically tell you whether or not you should watch it.  The script is turning out well so far, and I think people will enjoy it.  It's a bit early to plan for a release date, especially since I'm going to be spending a week or so in California around the middle of February, but you can expect it before February 28th.

Research:  Been watching all the seasonal anime for the new video.

Other:  This was the time it took to make the thumbnail for the HSL video.

QUESTING MARK

See last week.  Nothing new to report.  Planning on working on the GRN draft challenge sometime this week, though, and you can definitely expect more content with Evan in the future.

LIVE STREAM

No, actually.  The prerelease got in the way of that.  Sorry u.u
