Kate Howes

Yes another reason to take a bath

Ryan Grover

Tempered glass is so cool, though. So much less dangerous if it does break.

Kaitlyn Buckridge

I'm about to take my shower doors off and go buy a curtain 😂😂😂

Kate

I am so glad I don’t have glass shower doors right now!

Umi Materne

Is that another point pro taking a bath?

Jon Levell

As someone with a fear of broken glass that's a time to sell the house / burn it down event

Melissa Kaplan

I am so glad I have a shower curtain.

Peter Jones

Ah, just the thing I needed to see before my shower! Luckily I have a curtain. The only things I need to worry about are the curtain rod falling and knocking me out cold, and the curtain wrapping around me and I suffocate. Momento Mori!

Ren MacKinnon

This happened to the sliding glass door that lead to my porch! I was in the room when it happened and it scared the hell out of me.

Alana Stevenson

Can confirm. Have had this happen on two of our shower/bath doors at my old house. One of them shattered without anyone even touching the door, but someone was in the bathroom when it occurred.

Kelsey Mayeda

This happened to my family’s shower door too! It was during my parents Halloween/Anniversary party several years back but no one was in the bathroom at the time. We still talk about the ghost that shattered our shower!

Zara Hoffman

My friend’s shower also exploded! She has scars from the glass

Kat Waterflame

At least no one was in it when it happened!!!

Forest

Also, slipping in the shower and falling. That's my personal fear every day.

Michelle Janicki

That happened to a glass table top I had. No one was touching it and nothing was on it. It's a freak issue with tempering and/or annealing during manufacturing that happens from time to time.
