Random thought- Learning about the interconnectedness of brain and gut is starting to change my idea that "thoughts and feelings only happen in the brain". Western studies have started to prove a lot of the things that were always known in Eastern medicine but that were long dismissed. I also used to think Eastern medicine was nonsense but now that studies are coming out of the west about gut-brain connectedness, meditation etc., I'm starting to think maybe we should take other forms of scientific inquiry more seriously and not think the western science is the one and only correct way to do things. It's sad things are only "right" when western science says so.
