Is there a way to purchase a ticket without a copy of AR if we already have one ordered? :O

William Langille

I was just trying to figure this out, too. One bookstore said unclaimed books would be donated to a local "literacy organization" so you could get a book for pick-up (the cheapest option), but then not pick it up.

Julia

that seems like a good option. Although I would prefer an option without a book - I was so excited that the online tour ment that I could participate from Germany.... Quite frankly it is kinda expensive to, essentially, buy the book twice

Emily Bedwell

I was wondering the same thing. As I've already pre-ordered (twice for reasons...)

L Smith

I also already purchased the book :/ what to do what to do

Hannah

I wish we had the option to just buy a ticket. I can’t afford to buy the book again with the ticket :(

Zoe Lee

So excited for this! Just moved to Boulder for grad school during this ridiculous school year and I'm glad that I can participate :)

I canceled my other pre-order of the book and am buying one of these instead. That might be an option you could do?

This is one thing I wish they'd address. Both Hank and John do this - stress pre-orders and then price events to include the price of a book. John has explained in the past why pre-orders are so important, and I get that. But it'd be nice if they'd have options later on for events that don't include the price of a book, especially since hardcovers are so expensive.
