I'm on Staycation for the next 9 days. I've made no major plans other than to move the ball forward on 3DX content creation. Currently, I am tearing through all of the tutorial videos for Filmora. I bought this program ages ago, but was able to get a free upgrade to FM14 recently. Apparently, they started to honor perpetual licenses again. The new features are incredible. It knows how to lock onto a character's face and make all kinds of edits from the width of the chin to the size of the eyes, and track those changes smoothly across the video. It is a complete production package. The plan was always to move on to DaVinci Resolve at some point, but I can think of nothing DR can do that Filmora can't.

I'll need one more full day to get through the rest of the video and take condensed notes. From there, I'll be able to do all of the post-production work that I'll need to do with future clips. Between this and the Topaz video editor I'll be golden.
