I try to introduce a new character each month. This one is one of my favorites. I haven't worked on an Indian character yet. This wasn't intentional. One of my favorite Adult Film stars of all time, the beautifully-footed Shrima Malati, appears to be of Indian descent (though she's actually Ukrainian by birth). I just never got around to it.

I went up a level putting her together. I wanted to create open-toed and open heeled stockings for her. Highlighting and hiding those areas in DAZ's Geometry Editor was easy enough, but they left jagged edges at the seams. I was able to buff them out in Blender but, as is so often the case, the morph would not load back into DAZ. I was able to port the sculpted stockings into DAZ as a static object, from there I learned how to use DAZ's Transfer Utility to bin the new fabric to the character so that it moves with her poses, just as the original stockings did. From here, I'll be able to create clothing assets from scratch in Blender, move them into DAZ and bind them to my characters. This will unlock so many options going forward.

In other news, I found out that the DAZ website has a large outlet where hundreds of items are listed for up to 90% off. i bought all kinds of sets, hair, clothing and character assets today. I won't be running out of bedrooms to showcase my work anytime soon.
