Progress Report (Patreon)

I'm sorry for the lack of new content this past week. Here's what's going on. I've settled into a new job and had to go in almost every day to train. Going forward, however, it's a 21-hour a week gig. I'll have Wednesday through Sunday to catch up this week.

I'm also on my 4th attempt at rendering a long segment of my upcoming video. I keep noticing stuff after the fact that takes away from the potential sexiness. I've been in a holding pattern while waiting for Cycles to do it's thing. I can't even check my email without running the risk of crashing the project. I've taken steps to make sure this type of thing never happens again.

I'm waiting on power supplies, a CPU, one of three RTX 5090's and a case. The rest of the components for my next computer build are already here. When it's put together, my processing speed will not only be quadrupled but I'll be able to constantly create off of one computer while the other one renders. This is absolutely huge! I've been stalled so many times waiting all day for the sessions I set up to develop, not being able to act on new ideas for content creation, and I have many new ones at this point.

I've also got electrical upgrades in the works. I'm getting two 20-amp lines installed in my studio. They will be necessary for having two powerful towers running in tandem along with a space heater in the wintertime. I only tripped a breaker once here but according to my new Watt meter, I was pushing it with my current setup.

I'm looking forward to not having to take long pauses when trying to produce something big for you all. The new video will be out this week and I'm not showing it to anyone but members until I'm completely caught up here.
