It's finally finished: my third proper animation! This one runs a full 2 minutes. Click the link at the top here to download it. I posted some stills here to give you a quick taste. Definitely listen with the volume on. The music is banging! The song is called Against All Odds by Nick Petrov. I can't believe how well it syncs up. It's like watching The Wizard of Oz with Pink Floyd in the background. No skill on my part here. Just pure luck. Audio license information available at the bottom.

Along the way, at the very, very end, I discovered a way to 4X my render speed with no noticeable degradation in image quality. I'm not sending my new computer components back, but it will mean that I'll be able to render animations in the future VERY quickly while having a second terminal to compose from.

This drop does not count towards my quota for this week. I'm looking to drop a whole bunch of stills so stay tuned for them.
