Alfita Rocks Out - Technical Breakthrough (Patreon)
Content
I lost a lot of time figuring this out but I finally learned how to PROPERLY create clothing morph sliders in DAZ. In the past, I knew how to export clothing into Blender, sculpt it, and bring the sculpted clothes back in. They were static objects that wouldn't bind to the figure though and I would have to do a separate sculpt for each and every shot. The imported clothing would not follow the character if I changed the pose.
Now, I can create these morph sliders that can be applied to the original clothing in DAZ no matter how the character is posed. In this case, I created one where Alfira's pants roll up and we get to see a bit of calf in the second image. How scandalous!
The implications of this are huge. I'll be able to easily create strip teases, rolled up sleeves, stockings sliding down legs, tank tops peeling off etc. I'll even be able to animate the effect when the time comes, though I'll be in the iClone work space at that point and I'm sure that ecosystem has this capability too.
I'll try to get some more up today. I'm taking a trip to the Northern Command tomorrow taking care of some business and will be back Wednesday. I'll have enough new content up by the weekend to completely catch up. I have plenty of ideas and can't wait to put them into action and share with you here.
