we are in the endgame where I just get to rave about my favorite adventure games and that's pretty great

Are we going to get the Excavation of Hobbs Barrow in one of these lists? I'm not big into adventure games, but that one was somthing special.

Ian Danskin

it is outside the period of time we're covering but I have played it and liked it a lot!

Moths

Ah, good to know

That time travel premise is great! You just have to go for it when doing impossible stuff. Make it as stupid as possible.

Legacy of Time is my absolute favorite game ever! I replayed it so many times as a kid, I've never met anyone else who loved it. No matter how many times I play, the puzzles are good enough that I sometimes can't remember the solutions, especially the one with the tunnels in Shangri-la.

Chelsey Collins

I eventually bought it on GoG because my discs won't run in new machines and I can't bare to be without it. Still keep the discs though

Full Throttle is bar none, the childhood video game seared into my brain played from a beige home MacOS 9 computer via a floppy disk. I could recite this game word for word. As an adult I got into motocycling because of this game. There is simply something so compelling about this world and it pains me there has been such a dearth of content of anything related since this game ... guess I'll have to make it?

I remember having nightmares that made me late for school once because I couldn't find the way out of the tunnels under Shangri-la. Probably shouldn't have been playing it that late into the night, lol. Really wish I could play it again (still got the disk somewhere too) but computers are 'too good' nowadays.

Chelsey Collins

You can buy it on Good Old Games! They run it online or an emulator or something, all I know is I get to play it again!

Full Throttle: I can still tell you exactly where in that wall to kick to open the secret door, 30 years later.
