LIGHTS OUT REVIEW for Wyatt Atlee

Thanks so much for the review guys! One of the few movies that had me looking over my shoulder walking out of the theater lol. One of my favorite parts of the movie is that they made it easy to care about each character & the scares didn’t feel too cliché or anything like that. The movie, in my opinion, had a great tone about mental health and what it can do to a person if you let the dark take over for too long. At least that’s one of the messages that I took from the entity and what the mother was going through. And being a person who has experienced issues regarding mental health, I really appreciated that they implemented a message about that (but they could have not intended the movie to mean anything regarding that as well and I could just be looking too deep into it, but that’s the beauty of cinema is that different movies mean different things to people!). Thanks again, guys! I’m sorry for the long comment. Love y’all 👊

Regarding I Flip You Off for Four Hours, I am guessing it was inspired by the Andy Warhol films, Empire (eight hours and five minutes of slow motion footage of an unchanging view of New York City's Empire State Building), Sleep (Lasting five hours and 20 minutes, it consists of looped footage of John Giorno, Warhol's lover at the time, sleeping. and Blow Job ( It depicts the face of an uncredited DeVeren Bookwalter as he apparently receives fellatio from an unseen partner. While shot at 24 frames per second, Warhol specified that it should be projected at 16 frames per second, slowing it down by a third. )
