Great commentary! Fun fact: Marlon and his family don’t like scary movie 2. After the success of the 1st one, they got rushed to do a sequel. Even tho it performed well, but it didn’t in the way they wanted it to. They don’t think it’s as good as the first one. They said it was all right and it wasn’t using its jab or hook. More like left hand, right hand. The Waynes in the trades one day, that the company were doing Scary Movie 3 with somebody else. The idea pitch for scary movie 3 was stolen from them. The company came to them to do scary movie 5 but declined. They didn’t “walk” away from their franchise. The Weinsteins snatched their franchise away from the Waynes I enjoy scary movie 3 personally. But it doesn’t change the fact that it’s fucked up what the studio did. But to be honest, I think the reason why some people find part 3 funny is cuz most of the material are the Wayne’s material they came up with. The Waynes are funny as fuck!!!! That’s one reason why Marlon did a haunted house 1&2. I personally enjoyed them. Same with Don’t Be a Menace, White Chicks, Waynes Bros show.
