Hi everyone, hope you’re having a great day! I want to share some changes in my approach to animations. Before, I mostly made short 30–40 second loops, just learning along the way and trying to improve step by step.

But after finishing my 3.5 min Zhu Yuan animation, I realized I can’t go back to short loops anymore. It’s just not interesting for me now. From here on, I want to focus on longer works, around 1–2 minutes or more. They’ll still be loops, but with more variety in poses, camera angles and little details.

I want to focus more on angles, camera work, and so on. For example, I really like CrooveNSFW’s style: his work looks simple, but the camera movement, facial animations and playful angles make it really stand out. I tried some of that in my Zhu Yuan animation, and I was happy with how it turned out.

This change also means it’ll take more time to finish new animations. Sometimes two per month, sometimes just one. I’ll need to find a balance so I don’t burn out.

Thanks for reading! Here’s a small preview of my upcoming work with Shirogane Noel. Decided to try something outside of gacha games this time (btw Cyrene will still 100% appear in future animations).

Hope you’ll like what’s coming!

❤️ that you’re pivoting to longer animations. Your Zhu Yuan video has a sensual intimacy to it, despite the setting. And the creative camera angles in your animations for Trigger and Sweety/Venus were what drew me to your Patreon in the first place, so I’m excited to see what you cook up in the future. Also great to hear that Croove inspires you. Their skill with body posture/motions and facial expressions is peak. But above all, I think their best videos use music to drive the action/rhythm (ex: “The Squad” and “Challenge”). For videos with multiple cuts and body positions, adding the perfect music track elevates the animation to absolute cinema 👌
