Musicians react & review ♡ Ateez - Wooyoung (Logic's 1-800-273-8255)

This was deep. AND sincere. We love you Wooyoung. We say in the beginning of the video that we know this track from Logic - and we do. But we haven't listened to it again in...we don't know how many years. We have totally forgotten how impactful the message is, and seeing Wooyoung communicate the lyrics with his moves made it hit 10x harder. It was beautiful, and the best part is that Wooyoung really means it. We do not have the backstory, but it seems like this music is very personal to Wooyoung himself, and he is doing this to support and encourage others who may be going through difficult times. It was wonderful, and it only made us love Wooyoung and ATEEZ even more! Thank you for the links everyone :) This was well worth reacting to! Loved your reaction guys ♥️ I would love for u to see the behind scenes, where u will get some inside of the Ideas and co. Also he has a tattoo on his back which says „im Never alone and I will Never be“ so this Video has a lot of meaning for him. I would also love for u to react to his documentary „fill in the blank“ ep.1 on watcha where he shares a Lot of personal Storys and his Deep thoughts ♥️♥️

Tanya

you should watch hyunjins when the party is over performance dance to

Kittens

I also recommend watching the behind the scenes. It's fantastic. This is really wonderful of Wooyoung to have chosen this on his own (AFAIK) to do for us. He's a really fantastic kiddo, and so full of love for everyone and everything. Atiny is v v lucky to have him.

I've never seen this and I burst out crying when I saw him signing the lyrics in the choreo, THANK YOU ♡

Not sure if you know; but the saying at the end, is what Wooyoung has tattooed on his back 😊 You really should watch the behind the scenes of this mv also if you have time. It shows how much detail and thought Wooyoung but into this performance 😊

Loved the reaction, there is a behind as well as a full episode from a documentary called "Fill in the Blank" where he talks about personal stories as well as his inspirations for this performance. It is a great watch and totally recommend watching it as it also includes the other members and their perspectives of wooyoung as a human being rather than an idol.

You should definitely react to Hyunjin's Party is Over performance video. I love how this video of Wooyoung's and Hyunjin's video shows a completely different side of their skills then what we usually see in their performances with their groups.

Wooyoung indeed said in the interview that he always gets comfort from the people that like him so in return, he wants to give back that comfort thru his dance. That video views and being sexy/cool doesn't matter, all that matters is that they can create a video that people can watch whenever they are having a hard time and at least feel even a little comfort. Same as everyone is saying, the mini-docu is really a worthy-watch!

Thank you for the reaction! It never fails to bring me tears at the beginning and a smile at the end! Did you noticed that Wooyoung used sign language during his performance? He really wants the message to reach everyone! As for what else to react to? I would suggest all the specials clips the members gave us for their birthdays (or because they wanted to). They are all beautiful and because they are personal projects you can see different facets of everyone’s personality (San’s dance cover of Image Dragon that you reacted to is part of this) Found this playlist that has most of them: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLSE--FjN3_EzFnQH95-ACKQ2GtaD-w2HG&si=1a8-xtte-HqPChip

Wishful thinking, but I hope you guys can also do a marathon sort of series of the songs ateez did a cover (some are ot8, most are solos). Most of the cover songs they uploaded during the member's birthday, others are special gifts for atinys because we are, well, special. 🥲

The song has always been a very important one to me, and Wooyoung's performance adds a whole other level I didn't know i needed!

fun fact tangential to the video: you can relight a candle by bringing the flame to the smoke of a freshly extinguished candle. The related Fill in the Blank episode is amazing and well worth a watch. I couldn't find a youtube link, but I did find a google drive that has it, if helpful.

In the section where he stepped under the light strip, he used sign language so even if someone couldn't hear the music that's yet another way the message is conveyed. I'm not able to even interpret ASL, and I assume that was KSL (so likely different), but it's such a beautiful thing to include so clearly in what was otherwise a break in the choreography. I cried like a baby the first time I watched it, and still tear up every time I see it.
