THEORY TIME IS BACK.

But before that, UHM, EXCUSE ME, but these tracks are HELLA STRONG, musically for Secret Secret, and vocally for Silent Cry!

We're 100% going to make another video on these tracks because they deserve it and we need it, so we're going to reserve a lot of our thoughts (yet the video is over 20 minutes long XD) for the next round of reactions with Han-focused fan cam version of Silent Cry and the performance video for Secret Secret.

We talk about a lot of different things here, including everything related to the music, but also about the connection between the two songs and much more, so grab a drink, sit back, and ENJOY <3

So glad you guys put these in one video 😆 NOEASY was the first comeback that I was a stay for and I couldn’t even tell you how much more it made me fall in love with skz. Specifically these two songs, sorry I love you, the view, and cheese really showed me how much they were stepping up with their music. I truly think Noeasy is still one of their top albums. Can’t wait to see your guys reactions to their stages for these!! The han fancam is truly a must-see and the performance in general really sent shockwaves through the fandom when people saw it

Definitely agree with the contrast between the sound and the actual message for Silent Cry. Much more when you know the choreo, the message is supposed to be sad/sappy but the choreo is sexy (lol) You got the theory spot on. I think you already realized what was going on with the members. Speaking from someone who have been a STAY since pre-debut, I think you "felt" the songs more because you have already seen their other contents (2 kids room, survival show, kingdom, etc.), you know their personalities and was able to fully get to know them and their bond as a group/family. I cried the first time I listened to these tracks ㅠㅠ Thank you so much for this! was super excited for your reaction to the entirety of noeasy album (this album is my personal favorite). If you will have the time, I highly recommend christmas eveL (you loved 24 to 25 from 2kids show, I think you will also like the ot8 version ++ Winterfalls which is also written by HAN!) and their japanese albums! ^^

The first time I here this two it was love I first sight, but Secret Secret is gonna be always that song, I cry when I check the lyrics bc it felt so close to home, I really relate with them, so this is one of my favorite of all times for them, is gonna be always especial (I’m too D’some Han got me everytime with his songs) And totally agree with Silent Cry is that wear mash with the music and lyrics that makes that different I loved but ooooh NAUR when you see the choreoooo like is another chance you are not ready especially Han famcam IS MY ROMAN IMPERE Yes NOEASY is gonna be iconic forever is cheff kiss

Going chronologically, we'll get to the Christmas EviL ep eventually, it's a 2021 release, but there are still some other ones before we get there 😊 I do very much second the Japanese releases tho, as we've so far skipped 2020 album 'All In'. As we've followed the newer Japanese releases and did do Top/Slump where they fit chronologically, I hope we pick up these. All In is 7 tracks, 5 of which we've already heard with HS — FAM, TOP, SLUMP, and (Japanese versions of) Back Door and God's Menu. But title All In and One Day should really be checked out as well :D And after NoEasy, before any new Korean release, there's "Scars", which there's even a first take of. Really a no-skip track! And from here, they have yearly Japanese albums with some of their best songs over all!

NoEasy is still my favourite album of theirs. Truly no-skip. Both of these songs carry so much weight and it's not without reason that many still have them amongst their favourites. Secret Secret was originally a SKZ-Record Hanpop that existed for quite a while. It was teased during 2 kids song, so a year and a half before NoEasy. Silent Cry was written as a response to it. When you started mentioning comparing lyrics, I was actually really hoping you would, so we could hear your thoughts on them. You touched upon a lot of the different theories as to why the order is changed - they haven't spoken about why themselves. If you look at it as them telling a story, whether it's their own or a fictional one, Silent Cry is about watching someone struggle and being there for them, seeing them. But it needs to come from somewhere. That's where the impact lies. That's why Silent Cry hits harder when you know Secret Secret. Hearing Silent Cry first is very much like starting a movie with the ending scene and then seeing the plot in flashbacks. Which is clever and absolutely something they'd do. Another reason why they might've made the decision to change the order is that once the tracks made the album, it became more about creating relatability. It's no longer member to member, it's SKZ to Stay. They have 'our' Silent Cries, we can always come to them. That was something Chan was really pushing in Chan's room at the time as well. To look for them, for him, if we were struggling. To come to Chan's room and forget for a bit. This, then, would put Secret Secret as an afterthought. The part 2 to the message they're conveying, that they've been there too. That both songs carry extra weight for many who've related to Han specifically, and how he has struggled in the past, is also relevant. I'm suspecting that's what you want to talk about in the next one? The persistance for the Han fancam makes me giggle. Ya'll are incorrigible I can't wait to see your reactions to the live performances.

19 - yeah yeah that's what the general consensus is. Han wrote secret secret and we think silent cry is kinda a response to it. Doesn't have to be a 1 to 1 thing, cause it's skz, so ofc they added all the possible meanings they could. So they've made that way to feel more inclusive so the most amount of people can feel relatable. Really looking forward to the 'part 2' for this!

There is not much to say that hasn't been said .... can't wait for Part 2. YES FINALLY! "Omg Secret Secret is so amazing!" Secret Secret is hands down my favorite Skz ballad. It's my alarm tone so I listen to it almost every morning.. Cover Me is a really close 2nd but I think because I fell in love with this song first it still takes my top spot. It's the adlib-monizations 😂 that clinch it for me. Seungmin doing the high notes in the back are so emotional. I didn't understand the link of the two songs until much later when I read a comment about it mostly because I don't generally go and read the (translated) lyrics unless prompted to, so musically I prefer Silent Cry and then Secret Secret. Definitely hope you guys can react to those other videos and dive into the lyrics a bit more. If I'm not wrong, this was a significant time in Han's emotional/mental health journey and it makes me both sad (that he went through it) but happy that the other members were there for him and it manifested in these two songs. ❤️ All for "-ness" shirts for Han-C!

TMI inc I had to watch this, let it be, and then come back. That is how much I love these songs. "Secret, Secret" still makes me cry! I was crying even watching your reaction, and I don't even have a secret secret!! But their emoting is SO beautiful! "Silent Cry" accidentally wound up on my 'cleaning' playlist haha, don't ask me how. I didn't know the song, was new to SKZ, but I heard it, heard it again and again, came to love it's lil' groove and added it to That Playlist. Honestly, I found it a bit sexy and mysterious... ... like a dirty 'secret secret' haha, but then I finally looked up a lyric video and was like... What in the Actual JYP-ness! (put THAT on a shirt!). Now I love it even more because it holds so much more meaning when you look at the lyrics. There you have it. Silent Cry is my Secret, Secret <3

I second seeing the full performance. It's a group performance, and they're not all doing "the same", it's a story to their choreo as well! But yes, I totally know WHY the fancam is being recommended and it IS good. Just ... Fancams are better after knowing the full thing xD

Silent Cry gets me more because it's not the traditional ballad style you might expect with those lyrics, it very much hit me in the- sometimes depression/struggles aren't all quiet sadness but sometimes it's fighting through whilst living loudly and they're basically calling out hey we got you as they rap and dance and sing and pull you into the noise and chaos. It's yelling your defiance vs quietly sympathising and that fits more for me than quiet sad songs do so I really enjoy Silent Cry.

No Easy is my top album of theirs with Thunderous my favorite song. It's really so hard to rank their songs, but I feel Thunderous embodies SKZ the most. Secret Secret being my favorite Han/ballad song. I think I heard somewhere that Secret Secret broke Binnie's heart and he wrote Silent Cry as a response to it. I'll have to see if I can find the clip on YouTube. But I really feel the lyrics in Secret Secret. Han is my bias because I feel so connected to him. It's like he understands me. And like Silent Cry, I want to be there for him. That's my mom instinct. When I see them in concert this summer I'm gonna have a sign asking if I can adopt him. I just want to take care of him because I've felt the same way he feels and I just want to protect him.

I love Secret Secret. I love love love that song. Even though it’s sad lyrics. It just sounds sooooo pretty. I love it. But hearing Han-C saying JY-PEEE-ness is probably the highlight of this reaction 🤣🤣🤣

Both of these songs are so good and I’m so happy you guys have finally got to these songs. Personally, Silent Cry is my favorite song between the two, it was an immediate impact when I first heard it. The part were they sing all together (the oh-oh-oh parts) gave me the feeling of almost desperation to reach someone or something. As ways loved the reaction, and yes, please make the shirt, maybe a hat too😂

Honestly if there’s any connection with these songs I think it’s a coincidence. Han spoiled “Secret, Secret” over four years ago as a skz record and I’m pretty sure his original intention was to release it as a solo song. And tbh if there was that direct a connection I think it would have been mentioned by them at some point like in the intro.

okay I'm catching up a bit. now im just a little over a week behind. Silent Cry is such a bop even with darker lyrics. i really like lyric videos, but this one or any of them from the no. Easy album. I get distracted by the pictures. Because those are some of my favorite sets of pictures ever. Bang Chan with the orange hair, Han with that hat with the chain, Felix with the Gray extensions, LeeKnow, Seungmin, I.N. Hyunjin, with the clip Crown just... everybody looks so beautiful. LOL JYPness. i feel like they recorded this the same day that they recorded Sorry, I love you because the set is the same. I feel like after they finish recording one. They went in and changed their outfit and changed up their makeup a little bit, and then they recorded the other one. Seungmin ate this song down. also once again, I feel like the backing track is really loud. Not as loud as sorry, I love you, but still pretty loud.
