Will Going Seventeen album be able to compete against Love & Letter album?

The answer is yes. Just two tracks in, and we're already sold; in fact, we were sold since the very first track esp cuz we already knew what Boom Boom sounds like. But adding this incredible dance ver MV, Song fest vid and the hilarious Santa version made Boom Boom a worthy title track in our mind for this legendary album (although we haven't heard all the tracks yet XD)

But HOLY SEVENTEEN Can we please talk about how AWESOMETECULAR the Rock version was?! And yes, please elaborate on Woozi playing the drums like he's not producing the entire SVT discography already XD

So much fun stuff to talk about with this one, so let's keep this party going with HIGHLIGHT next! (Links will be welcomed if there are some fun ones :D)

Enjoy <3

Boomboom has such a fun fresh vibe and they pulled a 180 in that rock version (also scoups looks so good in that live performance ??? 😫😫). Seventeen doesnt play when it comes to song rearrangements---that performance was crazy!! Im so gladd yall decided to check out the rock version and santa version. I don't know much about the lore behind Woozi playing the drums, but he does play a bunch of instruments including the guitar and piano and he was also mostly a clarinet player before he became a trainee. The album just gets better from here hehe. Highlight is in another plane of reality!! As you already know, it's a unit song, but it does have an OT13 version with a few line/verse changes (basically its not just the same song with an ot13 line distribution). If you look it up, the official dance practice is the OT13 version so that might be confusing 😅 Butttt here are some links for both versions! Performance Team Version (OG): - Official MV (has cc's!): https://youtu.be/A956lNNVTz0 - KCON 2019 LA stage: https://youtu.be/B1pImFegeQY The mv and performance already show the dance really well imo, but if you want a proper unit version choreo video: https://youtu.be/p8Qm_EDTyt0 OT13 Version: -Ideal Cut Concert: https://youtu.be/Dm4dky91drc - Dance Practice: https://youtu.be/K9vajYTLy8w

Seventeen are Super Idols and Woozi is the Maestro.

As far as i know, Woozi actually plays a lot of different instruments pretty good: drums, guitar, piano and clarinet. I love the Santa ver. It makes me so happy to watch. But also, poor Dino with his 12 useless hyungs :D

It always amazes me how talented Woozi is, he truly is a man of many skills… He’s capable of playing multiple instruments, such as the clarinet, the piano, the drums or the guitar! Here is a clip (from 4:56 to 5:38) from the “Rock with You” Band Live Version Behind, where you can see him on the drums and the guitar: https://youtu.be/2Gw8gewOYjY?si=WdK0m_3BjqSuvdlQ&t=296

Woozi can actually play a variety of instruments. His mom made him go to an english tutor when he was still in elementary school. Turns out this tutor was a big music lover and owned lots of different instruments and Woozi learned more about music than english lol. He learned to play all band instruments there (guitar, piano, drums etc) but also more obscure ones like very specific percussion instruments and others. And since the english tutor was also a pastor, he made Woozi join the church choir as well. Woozi ended up picking up the clarinet and pursuing classical music seriously for 4 years before he realized that his smaller build (and thus smaller lung capacity) was slowing him down compared to his peers and he decided to switch courses to applied music instead. He joined a music academy for singing, auditioned at Pledis to test his skills and the rest is history.

I think this album will blow you away, im so excited about all the coming reactions

To quote Woozi for clarification: "I can play instruments you don't even know." When he was a child he learned a lot of musical instruments from his English teacher/pastor at the basement of the English academy he went to because that teacher and his wife were his neighbors, and the instruments he learned include the clarinet (he almost majored in clarinet at a musical course in high school), piano, drums, electric guitar, flute, acoustic guitar, recorder, and others he mentioned but never specified. He's really multi-talented! Love BOOMBOOM so much. People often say it's the weakest title track SVT have but I have to strongly disagree. It's so fun and it's powerful and feels exactly like the vibe SVT were going for at that time. It feels like maturation as it's happening. Now, HIGHLIGHT is a performance team track, but I will also give a link to an ot13 version because it's that good. It's also recently been added to the new tour setlist with the ot9, but I don't think there's good links for that so we'll leave it for when you guys will start reacting to concerts. ALSO! Throwback to your reaction to game caterers, but remember in the simple interview, Hoshi's question was about the fanchant he created? HIGHLIGHT is the song he created that fanchant for, and it's used for every song since. "Imagine if the members were playing?" You don't have to because it did happen! In the KBS Song Festival the year prior, idols from different groups who were born on 1997 performed 나는 나비 together. The band playing was 4/5 of Seventeen's vocal team. DK was born on 1997 so he was singing. Here's the link if you want to check it out: https://youtu.be/3KkQ-mxpHXE?si=c2FVQS99K97tjeq3

If woozi playing the drums blew your mind, then you should eventually check out the 97 line (acrss groups) singing "Im a flying butterfly" for kbs.

As other CARATs have said, Woozi is not only a genius producer, he's a master at playing so many instruments. Having a classical music background, he's just a talented person plain and simple. I remember loving this song so much from the first moment when we heard it on 2016 MAMA, they surprised us with that little sneak peak and just LOVED it right away. Every time I hear this song, it takes me back to so many memories and ugh, can't explain enough my love for the album. 'HIGHLIGHT' is another fan favorite, and once you see it, you'll get it. Perf Team always delivers and WE GOT AN OT13 VERSION AS WELL!! I'm so excited for more GOSE Album content. 1. Music Video: https://youtu.be/A956lNNVTz0?si=prQmrAJBIbrzMdOg 2. Lyrics (just in case, even though the MV has subs): https://youtu.be/NAOMu8bolmU?si=04f1_VNPMwgVI-2V 3. Picnic Music Live (the MR seems to be louder than their vocals, but it's a good video anyways): https://youtu.be/N5jgV2QsuT8?si=5COCAOFuq58Y6zSG 4. OT13 Choreography Video: https://youtu.be/K9vajYTLy8w?si=FealsaeTqwdD989t 5. 2018 Ideal Cut Concert: https://youtu.be/Dm4dky91drc?si=7ax9nFJKYw9f-YNH And just a personal note, thank you for doing this series. I get to experience all these songs for the first time again with a new perspective and for making me go back and rewatch older performances in order to give you the best of the best, plus, I get to go back and relive the times when all this content dropped in real time. thank you so much.

Woozi can play the drums, guitar, piano. Jun is also really good at piano. In recent _New concert Vernon, Seungkwan, DK also played an instrument. And there is an 97liner performance which is also related to svt band so yes so cool!
