We gon say this until the world changes. This album needs more LOVE.

With that out of the way, let's talk about Sunrise for a second. Cuz before we even get to the remix track, Sunrise is already a track that is very much NOT Ateez in many ways, and therefore, already stands out as something VERY different and new. So for us to have a remix version that hits THIS hard to a track like Sunrise was....just....yeh.

One of the best remix tracks from Ateez.

With that, we got the legendary BUDDY back at it to change one of the most iconic Atiny tracks from ATEEZ, Star 1117, so see you in that one everyone :D

Enjoy <3

Love this song! ♥︎ We love Ateez but their remixes are REALLY loved by my 5 year old son. We have each remix in a playlist for our morning ride to school. Loved your reaction!

I've never really been a fan of remixes in any genre. There was one Pet Shop Boys remix I liked and I think that's it. As I was watching this I think you might be right and it's mostly for musicians. I realized it's fine but I don't really care because the vocals\members are unimportant. It's about the digital sounds. That's cool I guess but all I can think about when I hear this song is when they did it in concert and had the lyrics in Korean and English on the screen - and the time when Jongho was out for surgery and Hongjoong started singing some of his parts. I think about Hongjoong writing this song after reading his journals from when the was the only trainee. So when I hear this remix all that is pushed aside for some cool sounds. I wonder if that's the same for other people. It amused me when you were saying how it sounded so western and mentioned Queen because this is Hongjoong's song and that's mostly what he listens to. little clips of Hongjoong covering Jongho: (When JH missed legs of the tour they played his voice on the backtrack and also ATINY sang his parts for him but sometimes Hongjoong would sing too) https://x.com/marahu_yeo/status/1875874559683182895?s=20 https://x.com/YUNH0E/status/1703453281241227736?s=20

Don't know what happened, but there are a few links for Sunrise (original, not the remix). If you want to check them out on your own, too. M Countdown Comeback Stage (there is in fact choreo for this song): https://youtu.be/7hRmC8J0Kjc?si=cuQIAxdIjO1Wcj_Q Idol Wonderland (during Mingi's hiatus): https://youtu.be/g6QH6ozS8u4?si=w8hkhznxCw0wCLTG ----------------------------------- Links for Star 1117 (original): M Countdown: https://youtu.be/92E2WMiw6DU?si=cmZmzHDFwmjx_7Pr The Fellowship: Break the Wall Anchor in Seoul: https://youtu.be/073jQNDCZSQ?si=GmLyTxRAiKRYfn2k The Kolor (with a live band): https://youtu.be/yqGtU0C8JhU?si=_who1F6ZFkBa1iEG There are no performances of the mix 😔 --------------------------------- Like poshpenny said, I do believe these mix-albums were mainly for musicians or people who really love song production. For me, I'm a fan of remixes where the artist went back into the studio and basically made a different song lol. Essentially there needs to be some type of vocal change for me to be interested in them. Vocals, lyrics, something. Ex: Mariah Carey - We Belong Together / Destiny's Child - No, No, No / Brandy - I Wanna Be Down Remixes or mixes where the instrumental was changed (or a feature was added lol) but there was no change from the original artist's don't really interest me much. But I do have some of the later Ateez remixes on my playlists. My favorites are the Fireworks, WIN, IOMT (Droppings Ver), and IYF (Yaeji ver) remixes. For IOMT and IYF I would like them even more if they were re-recorded lol. I also don't listen to the Treasure series as much as the others, which is why I don't pay attention to the remixes. So, this deep dive into them has been helpful. There are a few I've really enjoyed and need to add to my playlist.

I am enjoying the remix reactions. This has been a fun journey. Thank you

I haven't been as consistently keeping up with the remix reactions but every time I watch them I'm glad I did! I also don't pay as much attention to remixes in general and don't always vibe with them but it's fun to find ones I like! It's also mostly just fun to see how much fun y'all have with it and nice to revisit the og songs since it's been a while :)
