Part 2 of the legendary 5 Star Intro vid :D We got the DANCE baby. OH YEHHHHHH.

It's SEXY TIME now ain't it.

But in all seriousness, they're hot af.

Also, 5 Star intro series is the best we've seen so far. No hate to the podcast format—that's definitely our second favourite—but this format just tops everything we've seen so far. And we're fairly certain that the recording behind video is gon be just as awesome, if not more, and there is NO CHANCE that it sucks. So we're already set. Only way is up.

And am I the only one who missed the stars on the ceiling. REALLY?

So many mysteries to solve in this universe.

Enjoy <3

Hell yes. Watching this 4 says later 😫. I'm not entirely sure why they decided to do it like this for this album but I definitely wish they would have continued to do this for the rest of their albums. Because I enjoy them dedicating an episode to a singular thing from the album. So dancing for this episode the recording behind the scenes for another and then talking about the album for another. Like that's amazing. I'm so jealous Hyunjin and Felix can whistles so well. I love watching their dance practice is so much. It's definitely interesting to see him lose weight and gain weight and lose weight like not in a bad way like you can see the muscle definition come and go. But he always looks good no matter what. It's so funny because at the time I did not recognize what they were doing but now that I've watched all three seasons I realized that they were doing choreography from Street woman fighter. Jisung, my silly boy. It always blows my mind when they practice in jeans. I'm looking at you Han. These boys enjoyed white boys so much. I feel bad for what happened to new jeans. Binnie being cute is just the most precious thing I hope he never loses that. I also never noticed the stars on the ceiling. Bang Chan really is a big guy. Honestly Binnie stripping down to a tank top took my breath away. I definitely love seeing dance instructor Lee Know. Yeah Binnie is such a character. I mean so valid because I never noticed and I've seen so many of their dance practice videos. My eyes are on stray kids not the ceiling. I absolutely love watching them in the studio recording. And they definitely need this format more.

That is an amazing jacket you have on! shirt? jacket? whatever it is - love it! Also, you mention the STAYWEEK video that was also released during this era, are you speaking about the 'day that happened to be filmed' vlog thing? Because I'm pretty sure you've already seen that. Or is it the "Party's Not Over" song?

Yesss! This intro truly is the gift that keeps giving, most elite intro format to date. Love these lengthier, casual looks into their practice, also reminded me of how much I love Hyunjin's moves especially in S-Class. I have no idea how they're always dancing in long pants and multiple layers/sweaters, I'd be dying within 5 minutes! Maybe it really is just for when they're being filmed, or it's not as bad compared to a lot of their stage outfits anyways, but I could never. So excited for the last two parts, I think the recording behinds are my favourite from Stray Kids because 3Racha are so heavily involved in the process themselves, which you rarely get to see (or at least I rarely see from most of the other groups I'm familiar with, outside of Woozi and occasionally Hongjoong). Also somewhat related: once you get to it in their timeline ( I think they start around 2019-2020?) Seventeen do quite a few dance practice sketch videos similar to this where you get to see more of the process of them learning choreography.

Brianna E

I believe they're referring to the Recording Scene in this case!

Carla Midnight

Learning my English from HanC ofc hehehe

EL Knox

I could watch SKZ dance practice and studio sessions all day !!!

It always cracks me up how Changbin decided to wear that shirt when they were filming, I love the dgaf attitude. Also the cute reaction to being the '8th star' is the best.

Nic27

But you did see the Stars D'some. Stray Kids were the only stars you were seeing, you didn't need to see any more 🤣🤣🤣

I like other groups, but I don't really follow them the way I follow SKZ. So I'm curious - do other artists, especially groups, share tons of background / practice content, the way SKZ does? It's one of my very favorite things about them. We get to see how hard they work, how they interact with each other, their collaboration and idea/opinion exchanges, their humor and sometimes their frustrations. I think it's why the fandom feels SO INVESTED, because they let us see behind the scenes so often. We don't feel like we're watching from afar - it feels more like we're right there in the room with them, and many times (at least for me), the immediacy of those scenes feels like watching people I actually know in real life. And then, when we hear the music they were working on, or see the performances they were practicing for, it feels so familiar and warm. --------------------------------------- Re: their dancing I watch a lot of different kinds of dancing videos - hip hop, ballet, traditional (ethnic), ballroom, etc. The way dancers move in relation to the choreography and each other always fascinates me. Especially when they are moving in close proximity to other dancers, moving backwards, etc and they get to the point where they have practiced so much they don't even need to worry about bumping into each other. Specifically @3:20 in the video above, the way Felix glides backward without bumping into Hyunjin, Changbin and Han always gets me. I know that when they practice, they're looking in a mirror, but during performances there's no mirror. Yet their spatial awareness never fails. ---------------------------------------- HAHAHA - @6:36 Han-C says EXACTLY what I just said above. Great minds and all that. :) :) ---------------------------------------- @22:03 - Felix holding the red cane reminds me of when they danced with canes during their special Christmas version of Thunderous at the 2021 SBS Gayo Daejeon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTA1iARSDGI&list=RDBTA1iARSDGI&start_radio=1

Tristana Keauna

they did mention the recording scene, but also something pertaining to 'stayweek'... like it was a separate video. Are there 2 recording scenes; i don't recall?

Tristana Keauna

I often wondered - where did the red cane come from in this video?? Is it just a prop laying about, or does Felix use to stretch/do PT on the side... SKZ behind the scenes always leave me with more questions than answers lol

J.A. Moore

Good question. I wonder if JYPE has a "props room/warehouse" with some of the things their artists use in music videos or stage performances?

I loveee seeing dance practice like this, in a large format because we can see Leeknow dance leader mood, he is so lock in, and yesss his eyes are in everything, idk but is so satisfying to me, I can see the years of be a dancer in his moves, his attention to detail. Since I’m little always loved to see dancers dance so always makes me happy have this content. I like how you can tell they are having fun, ofc is tiring and their job, but see how they laugh and joke around in the process makes me happy for them.

ianmoonerealy

one of the reason I like u guys reaction is u guys bickering or teasing each other a lot. :)) So funny

Robin

Yes D-some, the only stars we need to worry about are skz 😆. I think it would be nice to combine part 3 with the stayweek recording scene in one video. Together they are like 50 min long but they flow nicely with each other so it shouldn't be too much to watch at once. I love Lee Know dance leader time! Wish they would show it more since it's fascinating to see how he catches the smallest of things in everyone at the same time. Also love seeing the kids just vibing with each other, they are really like family in these clips, especially love seeing sunshine twins just constantly doing something cute in the background 😂.

Jen

Please watch skz’s performance for le gala des pieces jaunes this year. Their performance is amazing. Thank you ❤️

Brianna E

Yep, there's a bonus stay week recording scene after the intro recording scene!

Hallie

These more in depth videos that document their comeback process are some of my absolute favorite content. The dance practice in this style, and the recording behinds. I also wish they would do more in this way where it's just longer, but I also understand not wanting to do that. Even with this type of casual content, they still have to be sort of on because they know they're being recorded, and that is a big ask I feel like, because they do spend so much time on camera even in their downtime or off time. I haven't been able to read all the comments yet, so someone may have also said something similar, but in terms of Lino-Leader of DanceRacha, it's fantastic of course, but if you're a weirdo and are watching videos like this multiple times you pick up things, and one of those things is that Chan is also laser focused on the mirror watching what everyone's doing, and it's something that even touches back to the survival show and how those two divide up this type of task. As the two most experienced dancers in the group, and also with the most formal training in dance prior to being trainees, their skill set is a little bit different, especially in terms of communicating corrections. Also...to talk more about formations and moving around, repositioning without the guidance of a mirror, it's common to "perfect" the routine and then do several run-throughs facing the opposite way of the mirror, in order to really make sure that you're not relying on it too much. I'm pretty sure we've seen them do that in a SKZtalker in preparation for a performance. But talking about that in terms of live performances and also touch back to Lino, if you watch fan cams of their live performances, like really good ones from the music shows, you can see his brain like running at full capacity as he's moving across the stage, and like knowing where every dancer is, tagging the camera operators, and like they're all doing that, but I feel like you can see it best in Lino's fancams. If I can recall a specific one that I think showcases this well, I'll drop a link even if just for other sausages. (It wasn't easy, because a lot of their choreo is so fast that their faces are practically a blur, but this one shows it pretty good: https://youtu.be/fgjnJT3_hRg . It's an All In fancam). But it's truly fascinating how complex of a task this is even just beyond memorizing specific dance moves.

ADDButterfly

Changbin's shirt cracks me up BEYOND belief. It's just such a wild shirt to wear anywhere public.

Hallie

It's a prop. They used them in their performance for Thunderous for one of the holiday shows...I can't remember which off the top of my head. They do a little tap dance section with the canes during the performance. I think it's just been left in the practice room maybe not since that performance, but maybe was pulled out for another group more recently and left.

larisaa

Did you guys react to quill pen by hyunjin? It’s a skz record. If not, can you please react to it??🥹

larisaa

nvm, i saw that you reacted to it now:))

Star Dust

Dancers where warm clothing to keep their muscles warm. This way they have flexibility and don't get hurt. :)

tashalovestotoro

THE WAY I USE THAT LEE KNOW LAYING ON THE FLOOR GIF EVERY TIME 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I never watched these Intro’s and now I know where it came from. I love it so much and they work so damn hard I’m so proud 🩶🩶 and they’re funny I love them LOL

Viyanca
