IS THIS ANOTHER DON'T LIE? OR PERHAPS BAD CLUE?! OR BOTH?!!!!

This is Jeonghan VS the rest. No, not Face Pace. No, not Mafia Game. IT's ONE MILLION WON.

AWESOME episode that happened to kill two birds with one stone. It was FUN AND SATISFYING. Showed the members beating Jeonghan, being a team, and also playing mind games in the earlier rounds.

GREAT start to a season :D and given how the album marathon's going, we expect GoSe will do the same and deliver hit after hit, season after season :) So excited for Let's Go Seventeen.

Aight. One Korean stuff to talk about:

~4:57 - As always, this is a Korean grammar thing where we get a head-final structure (I saw Jeonghan VS I Jeonghan saw).

In Korean, "Wouldn't it be a good idea to hear what Jeonghan has to say?" roughly becomes "Hear what Jeonghan has to say, wouldn't it be a good idea?"and instead of saying "good idea", DK mistakenly said "bad idea" and delivered an unintended punchline.

(Imagine someone saying "I hate cleaning my room, but if you give me money,...I will not clean my room" which collides with "if you give me money" and becomes funny. That's sorta what happened here)

Yeh, so, that was quite an overkill for a short joke but i have a thing for Korean humor that can't be captured w CCs so I had to explain it for y'all XD

With that, let us know who YOUR MVP was for this episode if you can choose one, and we'll see you again very soon :D

Oh!!! I love this episode so much. For me the MVP has to be Jeonghan regardless of he lost or won. In this episode you can tell that he really does know his members inside and out, it shows in the way how he changes the way he speaks what he says and asks each member. Love it!!! Can't wait for Let's go Seventeen it is in the top 3 for me this season so yeahhh!!!

the angel comment is because jeonghan's birthday is oct 4th, 1004! so they've called him angel since the beginning hahaha this episode is LEGEND because it really shows how well jeonghan understands and knows each member and convinces them (or doesn't) based on their personalities! and it shows the members' bonds really well too.

This is one of the mental game GoSe eps that I never bothered trying to fully understand the rules 😂😂 And I usually understand how the game works better once I watch them play anyways. Regardless it's always super fun watching svt; accusing each other at the start but staying true to teamwork at the end. My MVP is definitely Woozi, he was so active trying to shame the traitors 😂😂😂

MVP for me is still Jeonghan. It was a difficult game for him to play alone vs all the members for 3 rounds. You could feel that on the last round he was so tired and didn't seem to be enjoying anymore, but he still did his best... My other MVP is Woozi mainly because he was so fun and chatty throughout. His remarks were silly and witty. He also made Jeonghan believed he gave him 1M in the 1st round even if he didn't. Hmm I think there was no big discussion needed among the members in the last round because since the beginning they were actually wanting to win. They (specifically The8 and Woozi) already kept reminding each other not to get swayed. So after the 2nd round's total was revealed, they (led by Mingyu) instantly calculated how much is needed to win.

This is such a good concept, the mind games right from the beginning even just from the staff themselves pitting the idea of good/interesting content (ie: betrayal) but ultimately losing the game vs. potentially boring content (staying loyal the whole time) but with the satisfaction of saying they beat Jeonghan, it's so good! I feel like it wouldn't work with another group, but because Jeonghan already has the reputation of being so hard to beat/so good at mind games it really raised the stakes for the members. I also just love when we get to see them more dressed up/styled for a concept like this, they really do find some of the most interesting sets/locations to shoot at. I think my MVP is either Hoshi or Woozi. Woozi because I love seeing him more active and truly enjoying himself, Hoshi because I feel like I would be the same way with not really understanding the rules and being lost at the beginning of a new game. Shoutout to Wonwoo, Mingyu and Coups though for (I think it was them at least from what we could see) taking point on the math and strategizing in the final round.

This shows that if Seventeen do their best, they CAN beat Jeonghan - 1 time out of 10. I love this episode because I watched it so many times, in awe of how smart Jeonghan is and how he changes his approach towards each member and who he was sure would go with him and who he didn't bother trying to convince. He's very good at understanding the members and their motivations. How he can tempt Hoshi with loyalty and a fun broadcast, how he trusts Scoups to take his side, and how he can rely on Mingyu's brain if he can persuade him him to his side. My MVP of this episode is a double Woozi-The8. Woozi because of how active and two-faced he was, and Minghao for how he stuck to his guns and wrote 0 all the times even though it's not as interesting in terms of the entertainment show. NEXT IS LET'S GO SEVENTEEN AND THEY'RE GONNA BE RUNNING!

Just a fun little TMI! Vernon's Weverse username was half-plastic for a while after this episodeㅋㅋㅋ

Handsome Sausages

Honestly, already been calling him that myself XD it's such a funny nickname

Fay

Jeonghan and Joshua the menacing twins😂

MattyIsWhimsical

I am positive (no one can convince me otherwise) that Coups shared the plan for Round 3 with Jeonghan when he went up and that he was going to make it 960,000 won. There's no betrayal between Jeongcheol (except for that one time he regrets).

Cn Ngb

I agree completely!!!

I don't think there was a last round of discussion between the members towards the end. Everyone in Seventeen is super team-oriented so, if Seventeen's teamwork is at stake, they will always choose Seventeen over the individual benefits (it's different for individual games or things like mafia games where they split into different teams though, they will happily betray and double-cross each other in those 😂). I'm pretty sure even Jeonghan knew what would happen at the end because he didn't seem surprised at all by the last round's number. I love Woozi in this episode but my MVP is S.Coups for being the best leader and making sure that Jeonghan still leaves the episode with something even if he technically "lost" the game.

tim

MVP? Woozi!! and Jeonghan ofc

Jocelyn A

you'll notice that the 95 line tends to team up whenever they can! jeonghan and joshua love to tease the other members together, and scoups and jeonghan tend to stick together for games

Ariel Farah

Manifesting the next ep of 17 debut project as the next video.

Rainny_yoon

Do you have any plan to watch Nana tour SVT

Sam sam (Lan zhan)

I can’t help but be on jeonghan’s side cause 12 v 1 is CRAZYYY 😭✋

Priyanka Banerjee

I really love this ep! So much thinking tho! When I watched it, I wrote down the rules and calculations in pen and paper tho lol. Love how Jeonghan had a different kinda approach to each member!

ponchi

woozi was too funny, but wonwoos gameplay was too good so ill say hes my mvp

Trish

This episode is how Minghao became part of my bias line. I just love that he stuck to his morals even though it was just a game.

T. A

I agree, there is a reason Jeonghan isnt surprised by the results and we dont see their discussion
