So Circles okay to start, the story behind the song you will understand it once you watch tipsy love from Woozi's pov but to fully understand it you should know that Woonwoo's mother passed away in 2022 this is I think the only thing for you guys to know to understand what Woozi says and why he said it and so the lyrics don't just mean a lot to carats and seventeen but specially to Woonwoo. More about it you will hear from Woozi's pov. Commenting about Circles before I forget! So I would say the most helpful if you do want to watch it pre Tipsy Live is the lyrics video (sorry I don't have a specific link to recommend!), I feel like from there you'll get the meaning and be less blindsided by it in the Tipsy Live. Again, not 100% necessary but I do think it'll help. I don't really think it's needed to do a full deep dive of the song/multiple watches as you can save those to circle (heh) back to when you get to the track in the chronological journey.

the thing about DK is that he holds grudges and sends long text messages so the members are careful about talking about him in Insomnia Zero 😂 Also I would love to see a 2/18 Bros unit (DK and Vernon unit, they have the same birthday!) someday! I love their energy together For Circles, at least before Tipsy Live I think the more important thing to check out would be the lyrics (https://youtu.be/gRcsR6y0fgE) so you can appreciate the meaning of this song, how much care Woozi put into it and how significant it is for the members. Woozi talks about the song more in the tipsy live vid itself 💗

yeahh DK is really pure and nice! Carats always have a soft spot for him coz he is so sweet 😭 i think woozi mentioned the Harry Potter monthly meeting without telling about the fights, so it does seem sweet at that time. and they did drop the photos of it without telling us the story, so for a while Carats really didn't know. it was famous because it's so wholesome. then later, they brought up the fight in the recent episodes of GOSE. you'll know about it when you get there lol. it was just a funny story for the members now because they sorted it out on the very same day 😂

I am not sure if it is time yet but Hoshi actually filmed this meeting for his enlistment vlog. He and JxW have overall three vlogs related to Bath. The first time they mentioned the fight it was recent gose. But if it is ok, maybe you can check the vlogs before that.

To answer the question you had, I think DK didn't mention Jeonghan and Wonwoo because they're doing public service so they didn't necessarily need to match the leave time. It was during New Year break. But yes, they're both still enlisted!

Ok, back after watching! DK is so sweet, I was wondering how he'd be on his own as I don't think I've seen him as a solo guest before, but he seemed fairly comfortable here which was great to see. Also, someone already mentioned it but Hoshi did a vlog that includes the Harry Potter meeting, it does briefly mention what the argument was and showed a bit of the meeting itself if you want to check it out! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mrKd-qt0Xls&t=69s Also, Han-C you asked about Jeonghan and Wonwoo when DK talked about a recent meetup they had around Woozi and Hoshi's break, Jeonghan and Wonwoo are doing alternate (idk if that's the right word exactly, sorry!) service so I believe they are generally available for after work hours meetups.

To quote Hoshi: "I think DK is the second nicest after God" He's just so sweet and kind. He said before he's worried that people will see him that way because he doesn't want them to be disappointed when he's not that nice 24/7, but every instance you'd hear of him running into a fan or in a concert or talking to staff (SVT are very close with all their staff, and their managers are more friends than coworkers with most of them) every person who met him will say he's the nicest and sweetest. We don't know if Vernon is gonna be next but there's a theory going around that the next unit is gonna be Vernon and Dino so maybe if that's what's gonna happen we'll get him on Hyell's Club? Or maybe Dino, since he's always fun at drinking variety shows. Enlistment note: Jeonghan and Wonwoo are doing social work as an alternate service because of their health status, while Hoshi and Woozi are doing regular military work. Jeonghan is actually scheduled to come back on JUNE! So we have that to look forward to! And finally, Circles. It's just a very meaningful song, so the best thing is probably to watch the special video/lyrics video? Yes to both of these links! It turns out that if there was no Yoon Do-hyun, there might not be a SVT as we know them today. I also really love the JAYKEEOUT Background Live DKSK episode. The premise is that an artist sings live in a hidden area and the sound is played in a restaurant to unsuspecting patrons and it has to sound as close as possible to the studio track. The goal is to be such a good live singer that you trick patrons into thinking they're listening to a recording, but of course, with energetic DKSK's need to do ad-libs, that may become an issue regardless of skill XD. I hope you'll watch it.

That Harry Potter meeting is the gift that keeps on giving lol, it's like every time a member goes live or on a variety show, we discover some more lore about it 😂. For Circles, I agree with the other comments that you don't need a full deep dive into it. I'd watch just the lyrics video so you're familiar with the song and its meaning before watching the Tipsy Live but otherwise the context given in the comments of the DxS's Tipsy Live should be enough to understand what's going on. You could keep the Special Video and a live video (either Caratland or Nana Tour) for when you get to the album it's a part of.

Vernon rarely goes on variety shows, but funnily enough he's been on Park Myungsoo's channel multiple times. The first time he was with The8, the next time he was solo and the last time was with Seungkwan. Please add them to your growing list of videos to watch. Also, Jeonghan and Wonwoo were also there for the meetup DK was referring to!

So about circles, I already saw that people mentioned Wonwoos mom passing earlier that year, so yes that song was for him in part. But Woozi also mentioned that they had been having a hard time in general around their contract renewal (2021 was when the discussions were happening) and a lot of them had been feeling stuck. In the sense that they weren’t really gaining recognition and were basically stagnant. They wanted to improve and like show the world seventeen, but felt like they weren’t yet in a place where they could, so the mood was generally quite tense and do that was another thing, that made woozi write circles. I hope I managed to explain it well, English isn’t my first language :)
