NOT what we expected, but has anything from SVT ever been as expected? :) No. Not once.

But usually, when expectation is subverted with SVT contents, it's a good thing. So let us just show you what went down XD. Grab a drink tho cuz it gets deep with some music nerd stuff and if you don't keep yourself hydrated, you might faint in the middle :D

Also, Rolling Stones next. Yes. But def feel free to give us links for some other tracks (the ones we checked out from this album, cuz the album ain't over yet) and if we can fit some stuff in that vid, we'll certainly do so!

Ok first of Yang Da-il is crazy I was laughing so much, not that Woozi can't be like that, it's just whenever I look at Woozi in the back of my head I always hear 'OHH Uri Jihooniee' So yeah😂😂 For Clap I would give this performance they did for something called Inkigayo - https://youtu.be/oL57WUifvVY?si=RP6HNjEyd__8ZYvX Other than that though for me personally not really anymore noteworthy performances like more than you guys have already reacted to, but if others have some more cool recommendations that would be great because I also haven't seen more of live performances related to this album other than what you reacted to.

yes they re-signed the contract 🥹🥹 it's so interesting to hear that the toplines weren't exactly made to be 'catchy', because this song took a while to grow on me and thats probably one reason why? 🤔 But now when I listen to Pinwheel, it sounds so beautiful and melancholic especially when Im in the right mood. Oh and its my first time watching that power of love performance! That rearrangement's amazing, i need a studio version asap 😭😭 SK's high note and Woozi in the bridge summoned my goosebumps!! (Power of Love was an online concert, btw because it was in Covid era, so maybe thats related to why the mixing was off??) Rolling Stone video is next week!!! I will literally be counting down the days!! I think this is my favourite of the unit tracks from this album, I tend to prefer the vocal unit tracks overall and this was no exception. In terms of vocal unit tracks though this is probably middle of the list for me, which again speaks to how amazing their discography as a whole is because this is a great song! I absolutely love Woozi's vocals, and I love when we get to hear more of Jeonghan's vocals as I think they're more suited to somewhat softer songs like this. Also, the way the size difference of the members in the Mnet performance didn't even register to me because I'm so used to Woozi being a short king that I just thought Jeonghan was Woozi, oops.

Now that you’ve reacted to all three songs, I highly recommend watching seventeen’s rolling stone performance because all units perform their songs!

Pinwheel is really such a special song to a lot of Carats. I wouldn't say it's my favorite song of the vcu, but it's still amazing. BUT I DO WANT TO POINT SOMETHING OUT: The power of love mix you listened to isn't the official POL version. It's a manipulated version by someone who wanted to bring out the dry vocals. I thought it was so strange listening to it with you guys because that's not what I remembered at all from the concert, so I went and listened to the DVD version and while the mix there is a bit more raw than the audio version of the song, it's way more well-mixed and if you noticed in the video you listened to the instrumental was suppressed by whatever technique the person used to manipulate the vocals and in the official DVD it's not like that at all. So overall I think you just fell on a bad video, which makes me sad because Han-C did mention that the mix wasn't his favorite and it's not like that at all in the concert. Other than that note, the song is very Woozi, and very dear to me because it has his touch all over the sound and vocals (in a different way than the usual SVT song) and the back vocals that follow the members when they were singing like Woozi is with them at all time is really sweet. NEXT UP WE HAVE ROLLING STONE! I don't know what else to really suggest because like you said it's a really long video, but I figure now is a good a time as any to recommend the 2017 KBS Song Festival Seventeen performance, since I think you heard all the songs in it as of this video! https://youtu.be/Q-IF7yxbMjo?si=qNrBZFhURmYBrOjM BUT it might have to be it's own video since it's 20 minutes haha!

i love pinwheel so much, it makes me so emotional T_T slightly unrelated but speaking of yang da-il, dokyeom covered one of his songs and then actually had a collab song with him!! it was actually released in 2017 too >< you should check it out when you have time~~

ahhh pinwheel!!! not my personal favourite of vcu songs, but still so pretty and special! it’s definitely super woozi . I’m excited for rolling stone, I love that video. alsoooo, for another variety recommendation, you guys should watch seungkwans bibabu with youngji. it’s super funny, their friendship is the best :)
