WANTEEZ IS BACK!

Well, WE're back XD THE HUNT SEASON 2 LET'S GOOOOOO!!

Oh it definitely took longer than we wished for us to get to this, but hey, now we got a lot more episodes piled up for us and we won't have to wait as long :D So all should be good!

Now, it's the second season, and we already think it's better than the first part. The first one was awesome, but we think they've upped the ante in every way possible :):) including the puzzles! The puzzles seem so much more fun. And OH. The extras acting the scenes were AMAZING (especially the girl on the rooftop. She's def the MVP) and helped with the immersion.

Can't wait for the next part :D

Questions are welcomed, and we'll talk more in the comment section below!

So happy Wanteez is back (both the show itself, and HS reactions to it!)! Glad you waited so you have a nice little stockpile of new episodes waiting, there's a few I'm really excited for you to get to in particular! I'm honestly still not the biggest fan of these hunt episodes, contrary to what you said this time, and a lot of others said last time, I don't really find them immersive so it's harder for me to get into the story the way I think they intended. I typically love escape room type episodes, but I think for me because they inserted the members as characters into the universe, it feels awkwardly scripted vs. just seeing the members authentically trying to solve clues/puzzles without having the added acting element. Random sidenote: I'm pretty sure Seventeen shot a future GoSe in this exact location (or at least a very similar one), so you have that to look forward to!

I love these episodes!! I really liked that they incorporated a little bit more plot with the research couple.

Yay! I always rewatch your reactions. I knew you guys would love Yeosang in this. Seonghwa mentioned that he was truly scared during this shoot. Can’t wait for you to see the Ep 2 & the other Wanteez content as well as WooSan (my keyboard isn’t switching & my onscreen keyboard isn’t popping up) I think I was one of the commenters on the Fan Meeting Behind reaction about seeing more Hangul comments finally on ATEEZ content.

YES! FINALLY!! I've been loving this batch of WANTEEZ and I can't wait to see them again with you!

The part that kept taking me out of the story was HOW MUCH on screen stuff there was about it being a game. Step 2: Do the thing - CHECK! Like - now it's not scary.

Yes! It felt like they were just going through a pre-set list, I mean maybe it's not supposed to be scary? Not really sure but that uncertainty doesn't help either.

Yay Wanteez!! I also enjoy the 2nd Hunt season more than the first one. The first one was a great intro to lead into the second season. I really liked how much detail and effort the staff put into it, especially as it's on a much larger scale than other Wanteez content. However, my biggest issue with the first season was how there were too many red herring clues/hints that had nothing to do with the puzzles. Because of it, Ateez would be in one room for a long time looking for information or clues when they had already solved the one puzzle haha. I prefer the larger or more complex puzzles. I also think the actors help a lot in season 2. Especially the female doctor! Like HS said, she was the MVP! The family's story and their ending with her and her son was pretty sad and touching. I can't wait for the next episode and the rest of Wanteez! 😊

Yeosang giving out snacks to zombies was hilarious! I love this more than the first season as well….Im a person who has no trouble getting into the plot. It stressed me out a few times lmao

This is actually VERY interesting because we shot the second part TODAY and literally talked about how we LIKE that it's clearly an escape room format before an immersive experience because then we can just enjoy it risk free, doesn't matter how the members act, etc. no cringe risk, etc. but then again, this is a very very specific genre (kinda like how Zombieverse on Netflix pulled it off in the first season) and part of the charm is them treating it like a game XD I guess that came from us finding it really hard to actually have the thing be truly immersive unless ALL members are scaredy cats (which they aren't) so we'd rather let that go and enjoy this as an improv-escape room game then a serious film, if you will!

Will have to refresh my memory on the 2nd episode, but I do remember it being more puzzle-focused which I do tend to enjoy more. I think they had just already lost me with all the added plot & actors at that point and I was ready to be done with the Hunt episodes by then 😅. Looking forward to rewatching through your reaction next week!
