Could this be one of the best OSTs ever made?

XD NOT what we expected when they said "A-TEEN", "SVT", and "OST".

LOVED it :D

UHM ALSO, EXCUSE ME, KILLING VOICE ANYONE??

The fact that even I (d'Some) knew we've heard this from somewhere before just proves how awesome this track is :D Dono how great the series is, but it's probably worth watching just for this track alone XD

And don't even get us started on the GDA clip cuz they were EXTRA spicy in that clip too.

But now we're getting ahead of ourselves :) For our review, we'll let our video selves talk, and here, we'll talk about the next video instead! Let us know which track we should tackle next IF not 9-TEEN! :D And if yes, we'll see you all in that one! :D

I might be wrong but I think A-TEEN did hit Melon Top 1 at some point. SVT has performed both songs as part of their regular concert setlist for one of the tours, so there are quite a few live clips of 9-teen. They sing 13-member versions for both songs at the concert

You know, the performance of the GDA started, and Han-c mentioned something about the drama itself, and then I felt like Doctor Strange when the wizard sends him flying into a magic trance because I was suddenly hit with the reminder that JOSHUA HAD A CAMEO IN THAT DRAMA!!! The members made fun of that cameo for about 5 years after the fact, because it's really funny the way he just appears in a scene and goes "SURPRISE!" in English. I literally just remembered it and I was in shock I forgot it in the first place. So that's a fun tidbit. A-TEEN!!! I fucking love this track man. One of my favorite Seventeen tracks of all time and that's a really hard list because they have over 200 songs, but man is it that powerful. It won Best OST of course, as it should, and it was the FIRST web series OST to enter the Melon Top 10 charts and then the first to hit the number one spot of the same list! I think the reason that it's more talked about than 9-Teen is that you really can't compete with perfect. I tried looking for any article about it when it came out and what the producer might have said, but maybe because it was 2018 and Kpop was only slowly hitting the mainstream, I can't find any English articles talking about it. I even tried looking in Namuwiki but I didn't find anything to expand on, so there might not be anything more to say about it from the technical front. BUT IT'S A GOOD SONG SO I THINK IT SPEAKS FOR ITSELF!!! Also I loved seeing how active Woozi was in the GDA performance he kept leaving his mark and jumping around, I'm glad he had fun! LOOKING FORWARD TO 9-TEEN!

Absolutely love this song and played it on loop when it first came out, it also made me check out the associates drama and it was quite enjoyable. The A-Teen web-drama was very popular among teens in Korea when it aired and this OST actually fits the vibe perfectly and plays quite a lot in every episode so it also got pretty popular. Hence why it won awards and why Seventeen was invited back to make an OST for the 2nd season of the show (9-Teen)

I can't hear this song without seeing their Killing Voice in my head as I listen, that was also where I first heard it and it will always be associated with the Killing Voice for me. I may go check out the drama video for it to see what the vibe of the drama is though! Very curious about how they ended up performing this at GDA, I feel like you never see groups performing OSTs at the end of year/awards shows. I'm being completely biased here, but I'd love to move on to You Made My Dawn for now, and then you can get to 9-TEEN afterwards, which sticks with the timeline chronologically anyways.

Ateen so good. Svt is like the first group I stanned ever (became a carat in 2022 tho) but before that I was more into drama and OSTs. And this was the first time I heard to a seventeen track as I was watching Ateen. It was really good and I loved it. It was my 2nd favourite song of the drama (1st was Don’t run away by Motte). But I found it funny how 17 was singing 18 hahaha. That’s why the name seventeen stayed in my mind even tho I didn’t look into them further cuz before becoming a carat I was always like if I like a song I like a song that’s it haha. But whenever I heard a svt song or ost later on I was like it’s the guys named 17 who did 18 and 19 haha. But yea Ateen a great song. 9teen is also really good. And svt has 20 too hahahaha. Btw there’s also a song named 17 by Pink Sweet$ featuring Joshua and DK hahahaha. Also in the recent New_ concert seventeen performed all 3 songs, 18 19 and 20. Also I don’t mind 9teen next, it’s a great song too~ ^^ Thanks for the reaction.

A-TEEN hit #1 on the Melon charts and won Best OST at the 2018 MAMA. I also recently found out that A-TEEN is actually a sequel to the web drama Seventeen, so I’m guessing they already had SVT in mind when they made the show. I was also surprised that the boys had full creative control over this song. Since Woozi and Bumzu composed the track, I could genuinely see A-TEEN being part of the Teen,Age album. But anyways, I’m happy whether we move forward or not. Technically, y’all are still following the chronological order since 9-TEEN was only released in 2019, after "You Made My Dawn", and I can genuinely hear how much 9-TEEN is influenced by that era of Seventeen. I don’t have any more high-quality 9-TEEN links, but if sausages wanna move forward and you need “Good to Me” links, just let me know!

I've only discovered a-teen through killing voice and I was so obsessed! Buttt I actually prefer 9teen between the two. Like another comment said, A-teen fits the vibe of Teen,Age album while for me 9teen would sit perfectly in their next full album, an Ode. We recommended A-teen now because it was the next thing released after You Make My Day. 9-teen was released after You Made My Dawn, so I'd suggest going through the next album first to continue chronologically.
