Hongjoong Bazzi collab is EVERYTHING | ATEEZ - Hongjoong X Bazzi "ENOuGH" Reaction

How this collab happened, we have no clue, but are we happy that it did? HELL YEH. This is HONGJOONG our captain singing with Bazzi, and while it surely has Bazzi written all over, we also thought it's got the ATEEZ sound we always loved :) A true "collab", if you ask us! We actually got to check out the two trailers for this track during one of our monthly livestreams, so we had a slight idea of what the track might sound like, but still, it was a lot MORE than we thought, and that's ALWAYS a good thing :) Loved the theme, the MV (the MV was beautiful yo), the lyrics, and the wonderful vocal from both HJ and Bazzi. So happy this happened after the legendary surprise drop that was WY X Gallant (it was a surprise for us at least), and we look forward to more! This song was made over a few months mostly while HJ travelled to LA, and the mv was shot there as well. Seeing the reels they made together, I think it's safe to assume that he & Bazzi shot their scene together! There have been A LOT of HJ interviews these past few months especially, again, while he was in LA (at least twice since April), but also recently for the ENOuGH release : including a short interview in English and a longer one for the radio in Korean, and also a live performance of the song on Sirius XM. Lotsa fun stuff to look forward to!

hongjoong wrote enough to remind himself and listeners that you don't have to keep looking outside for acknowledgement or the like, that what you carry within you is enough! he filmed it with bazzi for sure, they have a few reels together :) he did explain the mv as him travelling to another planet (his home planet being ateez), with bazzi being the resident of this planet with the theme of time! edit: pretty sure i'm not phrasing my explanation of the song properly but i hope the gist is there >.<

KQ released a notice that Hongjoong was injured then the 2 days, we all found out that he was in LA when he was suppose to be resting. 🤦‍♀️ I love that you understood Hongjoong direction right away. In his interview, he said that ATEEZ (his family) is on Earth and he is visiting Bazzi’s planet. He said that in his future collabs he wants to portray the idea that he is visiting their world and then go back home to ATEEZ. Hongjoong said that he was constantly looking for things to make him feel full. Now he realized that he has everything he already needs to make him feel enough. He said that in a world (ENOGH) where everything surrounding “u”, the “u” is this big world matters and “u” are enough.

YAY! It's here! I'm loving the mellow vibe - it's so different from SMB and NO1 and more like the old ATEEZ B-sides he wrote. You really got the message well! He is exploring out from ATEEZ and learned he can slow down on Bazzi's planet. He said the apple juice was because he used to feel like he had to appear perfect all the time but this year he realized when he looks around at the people and accomplishments he has already - it's already enough. (and the apple juice is no longer perfect) He also said he has no plan for it but if there's a chance for another colab in the future he'd like to continue the theme and explore their planets to see what he can learn there as well. The song is one that came from a song camp he did in LA in April and he invited Bazzi after meeting at BST Hyde Park in June. They shot the video together when he went to LA during their other vacation time in August.

Btw another HJ interview just dropped, with Variety this time, recorded a few weeks ago in LA. Super interesting watch honestly.
