Small Talk is such a calming show and you do NOT get calm shows like this nowadays on YT, and esp when it's idol related contents XD So it's like a diamond in the rough you know? You don't get this kinda stuff everyday.

More than any changes in their music, what worries me is the reaction from Knetizens. The Korean public can be very sensitive, and sometimes they tend to overreact to gestures or comments that really aren’t that serious. We’ve seen careers get completely ruined over the stupidest things, so yeah, all the attention they’re getting right now makes me a little nervous from that point of view more than musically😭

I'm with you on this one. I'm happy for them about all the new gained attention, but knetz really worry me. The misinterpretions from new fans that don't know the members that well have already been increasing. They don't know their dynamics and the members need to constantly explain themselves on Fromm or during their TOKTOQ lives... Oh well, let's just hope for the best.

I remember Hongjoong talking about how "just because they've gone viral with BAD and have been so successful with it, he doesn't want to keep riding the same wave and definitely wants to keep releasing something new with every comeback, just like they've always done" ☺️

So happy for Ateez! They are getting recognition they deserve in Korea. It has been announced btw that Ateez will have a single next month and a full comeback in November. I think something that is good is that Ateez has such strong foundation together as a group, I think they can withstand the criticism that may come from Korean atiny. They already have so many more Korean comments on their videos like a crazy amount more I’ve noticed.

U know what you guys put exactly what I was trying to say into words so beautifully, and thanks for the great info too! When I (Han-C) was talking about K-netizens, I actually talked about how much certain K-netizens in general could negatively affect ATEEZ (aside from the music-related stuff), but I ended up cutting all ‘em out (Since 1. I thought none of it had actually happened, 2. I thought maybe I was being a little too harsh on them 3. Also, just because I’m not really a fan of being too negative anyway so 😭) But seeing your comments, I guess some K-netizens really never change.. Nobody can change our boyssss!

this was SUCH a comforting watch :') i totally understand your concerns han-c i think a lot of atiny are worried about the same or similar things but like d'some said in hongjoong we trust, in ateez we trust! i definitely think ateez is not one to lose touch with where they came from and how they made it here, which eases a lot of the worries I have about them starting to cater more or too much or differently to new korean fans. particularly in their music, i don't think we have to worry too much

We all thought the same because it’s a concern that comes from experience 😭 But yeah, personally, this is what scares me the most. Especially with Wooyoung ahaha since sometimes he can be a little too direct and people might easily misinterpret what he says or does. But anyway, let’s hope nothing like that happens. And even if it does, at least they have a strong global community that will still be there supporting them!
