HARDEST ATEEZ TRACK?! | ATEEZ - DRIP (MV) Reaction

We got WEEKS until their newest album and their PRERELEASE hits THIS hard??? What are they cooking up in their basement? We had BAD just a couple months ago, and they're dropping Golden Hour Part 6. What the heck is going on (not complaining) We got lots to say about this one, including how stylish the MV was, how different the sound was from other ATEEZ tracks, and of course, how HOT everyone looked (Get well soon Jongho :'( Sorry we didn't realize you weren't in the group shots...but in our defense, we couldn't tell anyone in those shots other than the center member cuz there were too many things going on XD). Yayyy!! I was gonna wait to watch this after work but I just couldn't 🤩 Ateez really did their big one with thisss!! The beat! THE BASS!! THE JONGHO!!! Be careful listening to Drip while driving frr 😂 Rapteez is back and I might like Drip more than NASA 🫣 I was OT8 wrecked this whole video, literally can't pick a member who looked hottest - they all looked amazinggg 🫠😍 My fave parts are Jongho's sing-rapping, Mingi's pre-chorus rap verse, the bridge, and the dance break. But everything is amazing, i just wanna dance the entire song

They performed Drip live on The Jennifer Hudson Show when they were in LA!! The performance is out now and Jongho's dancing in it too. Jongho wasn't in the choreo bc his leg was hurting at that time and because the shooting was already planned way in advance, they couldn't reschedule. So the guys learned the 7-member formation for the mv and 8-member formations going forward for the choreo. Jongho will be in the live stages so no worries!

DRIP has been on loop since it dropped for me. I absolutely love hip-hop Ateez. They're all so cool, just aura farming throughout the whole video, gosh I love it. And yeah, Jongho's tone and lower register is SO GOOD. Mingi said that if you're Atiny, there's no way you wont like the title track. And they all said that the choreo is insane. San participated again. I cant wait!!!

Drip has been slowly growing on me, I think it will end up somewhere around solid/great to vibe to when it comes on, but not quite up there with my favorite Ateez tracks. They have said they want to explore lots of different genres, so I'll be curious what the rest of the album looks like! I feel like this album snuck up on me, I'm still processing GH Pt.5 😅. I also feel like almost every group I follow has either dropped an album, or had a solo or unit release of some sort recently/coming up soon so there's a lot of new music on my plate in general (a good problem to have, but still slightly overwhelmed). Can't wait to see more of Drip, including some live performances, and hopefully a dance practice as well!

I loved NASA more than Adrenaline so I have a feeling I might also like Drip more than the new title track. Jongho is the absolute MVP for me in this. I was always hoping he would get to show off more of what his beautiful voice can do. I also loved the rap verses and Yunho dancing centre with with that outfit and the blonde hair soooo good

I'm a Debutiny, and this takes me back to KQ Fellaz days, which is when I discovered Ateez...before they were even Ateez. Drip is giving MATZ, The Leaders, The Ring, etc. The members said the title track is even better than this pre-release, which confirms to me that they are trying to end us all lol Jongho said that once we hear the title track, called "Up", we will understand why this is the pre-release and not the title track. Also, Jongho was incredible and really shined on this song. We also got so much more of Yeosang, Yunho, Wooyoung. I love how every member got to show off. You guys should watch their performance and interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show. It was the first time they performed Drip, and then she interviewed them afterwards. They will also be performing Drip on Music Bank on 10/30. It's a comeback stage, so I am super excited for that one.

Aside from Yunho being my favourite part of the mv, I love that sliding sound during Mingi's first rap part. It actually reminds me of that cool rewind sound effect during Mingi's rap in 'Birthday'. This track and mv remind me a lot of their Japanese tracks and MVs

It doesn't sound as Ateez because I thought some (or all) of them are Halateez. Threadstiny and Loretiny keep saying Halateez is back so maybe that's why -- also there's double members in all the shots and Sopro is a main character in the video so I'm super excited for the rest of the songs!

I know Jongho has been wanting to do more lower vocal tones I'm glad he's getting more of that

I am still trying to figure out how I feel about Ateez. I love some of their stuff and not so sold on others but Drip might have just tipped me into Atiny. And hottest.... Mingi saying "boogie man" lol

This sounded like if Zico wrote a song for Xikers to me, I liked it but it was different, cant wait to hear the rest of the album

Timing-wise, I think they dropped this one early to coincide with their 8th anniversary. Also the MV is stacked with references to their past music and music videos, lyrically and visually! Some of the choreography has callbacks to previous choreo. A lot of IOMT references, IYF, Bad, even Crazy Form!
