5th song from this pre-debut mini album is GLOW!

A big shift in direction, first time Han really read the lyrics, first time D'Some couldn't react much due to its depth and honesty - it was such a moving piece, and, as we say in the video, as much as the song had a lot of musical sparks, it was first and foremost a touching music about SKZ and their journey.

So for that, we really really liked this one.

And I'm sure you did too - two more to go, and we ain't stopping.
Let's get it!!

brb have to go add this to every playlist. I’m such a bad stay. 😅 you liked Minho’s vocals here just WAIT until you hear them in his solo song “Limbo”. I had it on repeat today. And for the record I love how ‘Limbo’ ends. Fits the title of the song.

This was originally a unit song that was Felix Changbin and Lee Know and it was the reason for Lee knows original elimination. It's super beautiful but it makese super sad.

Enjoying your reactions! Can't wait for more to come!

Nova

They were so raw in the beginning - just gets you in the feels. I love how they’ve grown and evolved.

Alessandra

Such a bittersweet song since this was the song Lee Know was eliminated from the group. It was only 3 members singing this song: Changbin, Felix and Lee Know but the latter got eliminated at the time. Still, the lyrics are so meaningful and very honest. Thank you for reacting to this one!

Finally catched up! I'm so happy you're reacting to all skz songs, you won't regret it!!! I'm still a baby stay but with skz it's the first time that I really pay attention to the lyrics because I realize that they always want to say something to us, so I understand your reaction perfectly :)

Georgianna

It always reminds me of the eliminations. Poor Changbin was so sad. But, they wrote a beautiful song.

Their early lyrics about being trainees always makes me feel some kind of way, especially about Chan - he was thirteen when he left Australia to be a trainee and twenty when he debuted, which is a really long and significant period to be away from your family. He's said before that he was in a really dark place before he met the other members, not just because of the length of time he spent as a trainee, but because he kept losing friends, either because they debuted ahead of him, or were cut, or dropped out. There was a mixtape and then an extended play that 3racha uploaded to soundcloud in 2017 prior to the start of the survival show - sixteen songs in total - most of which have never been released on any official SKZ album, but if you scratch around to find them, there's a few with lyrics detailing where they were at mentally/emotionally during that period, and it's really emotionally affecting.

I love that you're breaking down all their songs, cause it shows me that I haven't heard them all either! I only discovered Stray Kids in like... December? January? but they're my current hyperfixation (and I can tell they're going to be a looong term love), and I've tried to listen to most of their music. They have so much it can be hard to know if I've heard it all, especially with the post-Woojin re-releases, the unofficial 3racha stuff, and pre-debut music. All that going to say, thanks again for reacting to/breaking down their music! I really do love this song, and it makes me so sad to think of how hard they had it!

It’s so hard for me to listen to ‘Glow’ because of the survival show. We lost LK, Felix was in danger and Changbin’s so heart broken and unsure of himself. But it’s such a good song!

Others said, originally a unit song by Changbin, Felix and Lee Know, written by all 3 of them as well. Changbin had wanted the other two to be part of writing these lyrics. Even though others gave a few spoilers already to the survival show, it'd be great if one day you two would be able to react to it. Stray K Subs has all the episodes with english subtitles (not that you two need it, but it's nice for us who don't know Korean yet so we can follow along better hehe) I think you both would appreciate the song writing process that is shown on the show.

What a beautiful analysis of this song. As others have said, it's truly a bittersweet song for SKZ and STAYS. It's not boring at all when we get to see people just take in an amazing song and are simply speechless. That's one of the best things to witness in my opinion. I appreciate how in depth you are with your reactions and how you truly allow SKZ songs to touch your hearts because that's always been SKZ's goal...to always be open, honest and true to themselves with every song they create for us. It's been that way since day 1 until now and that's why they will always be my favorite group.

Handsome Sausages

My gosh - too young to be separated like that. I know a lot of ppl who went through similar things - being separated from the family, and it ain't pretty. Adds so much to the song too, knowing that detail

Handsome Sausages

Oh we're the same, aren't we. In such a short time - we're having a blast getting to know this fandom and SKZ in general. Thanks for watching and appreciating what we do :)

Handsome Sausages

Noted! Subtitles are a must, now that you mention it - for the audiences. We're planning on starting the show sometime soon in the future :)

Handsome Sausages

Well, it's not us - they've done their job right to create such an impactful song so it's all thanks to them. Incredible stuff !

I just had a realization- you guys will be getting to Get Cool soon! I beg of you, please watch the 2018 comeback stage performance of it. You don't have to watch it as part of the reaction, though that would be amazing, but once you've heard the song you need to see that performance. it is quite literally the CUTEST thing I have ever seen. They are so baby, and just leaning into it so hard. it's incredible. I.N.'s hair is. *chef's kiss*

This song always breaks my heart because of the survival show. I love how you really dove into the meaning of the song, and the emotions behind it. This song has always been one that makes me cry because of everything the boys went through, but also smile because of how far theyve come since then. The feelings and emotions Skz songs evoke are my favourite parts of their music, and I;m also so thrilled to see Lee Knows tone and voice get the love and recognition he deserves!

luna astrum

I'm pretty sure that Chan wrote it about Bam Bam from GOT7

Like another commenter said, once you get through the survival show, this gets even more emotional. Come back and listen after that last episode and listen closely to what each member is saying in this song. :-)

Everytime i hear this song i cant help but think back to the survival show and i cry every time
