Musicians react & review ♡ SKZ - Blind Spot

Yep, definitely missed a blind spot there cuz we CRAASHED into this crazy song and got wrecked yet again :') We'll say this first. Ever since our reaction to Megaverse (followed by LALALALA of course), we've been saying that the pre chorus section of the tracks in SKZ's Rock Star album hits HARD. Well, this song 100% proved that it wasn't just a coincidence. They POURED their souls into every single track, and the pre chorus (which we tend to say gets [inevitably] the least amount of love and care in many songs) be goin CRAZY for EVERY single track in this album. We're pleased just with that fact alone. CANNOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE, COMFLEX. As we say, if you want to check out our reaction to ALL SKZ songs in order from the start, as well as shows like SKZ Code, SKZ survival show, and many other fun stuff, head over to our patreon at http://patreon.com/handsomesausages !! I love all of the songs on this album but the next two are my favorites! I am excited to see your reactions. Are you guys going to be reviewing Ateez's new album as well?

your name here

Credits: Lyrics: 3RACHA Comp: 3RACHA, Willie Weeks Arr: Willie Weeks, Bang Chan This is the first time Willie Weeks has been on a SKZ credit. He has worked with artists like for IVE, BSS (Seventeen), BTS, The Boyz, Cravity, Taeyeon, SF9, Oh My Girl, and more.

Haha. Yeah this song…..If the track wasn’t so upbeat I would honestly shed a few tears. Again the SKZ way of making emotional songs sound pleasant. I think I also know why this album is what it is. If they added all these songs to the last album we would have 🫠🫠 it would have been too many hits on one album. I hope you can catch up before more drops. 😂😂😂

Purr-Kim

Love your reactions. The vigorous head bobbing as you tried to comprehend Skz musical journey was awesome. Also cant help but wonder what Skz would make with your outro music, its so cool :D

I’m glad to know I’m not the only one who thought this was like j-rock 🤣 I could totally imagine them dropping it as an anime intro. Also, thanks for elaborating on the whole genre bending thing too. It was really interesting to know where some of the sources come from!

The next two tracks - COMFLEX and COVER ME - are going to seriously blow your minds. One is sassy as hell, and one is very emotional. Looking forward to your reactions!

Tracey Okeby Lucan

I love this song. I love this whole album. Oh no I think I just love Stray Kids?

Yustina Puspariani

Uh oh.. the next 2 songs will blown your mood from sassy feeling to gloomy & heart-clenching .. literally 😎😎😎 >> 😭😭😭 Can't wait for your reaction!

My current playlist consists of track 4.5.6 on repeat right now, so so so excited for what to come!!

Firstly the instrumental is not what i expected for this song. Its a really beautiful song. I for a moment i forgot that you guys focus on the music and sources first bcuz i thought you guys stopped to enjoy I.N's vocals bcuz it was the first time the prechorus was so up and down like that. But i am glad that you appreciated Chan's heavenly falsetto. Chan doesn't have very many lines in the album (in my opinion) but what he does have is truly in your face amazing. Also yes the pace of the song was also unexpected and the fact that it NEVER SLOWED DOWN. Like even the chant was really fast. The way Han could only laugh when the song ended. This song is very anthemic and i cannot wait to hear it in concert. I can just imagine when the background music drops out and the crowd is chanting and clapping those lines with Stray Kids and i already have a hair erection. This song is just brilliant. As is this entire album. As quite a few people have said the next 2 songs the way they are placed in the album WILL give you whiplash. But Comflex is my favorite. She may not fit everyone's taste but she definitely fit mine and blew away my expectations that i had from the get go bcuz of its UNIQUE 😏 name

EzzyMoon

given some of them are huge anime nerds, the impression the song left on you is pretty spot on with the anime running! a pretty emotional song that outwardly doesn't look like it. cannot wait for the other songs!

Tristana Keauna

Watching you two try to bop along was great haha. I have to admit, this is my least played song from the album (still a masterpiece though). The overall synth (?) isn't something I can listen to on repeat, but I love after Chan's beautiful lines, it becomes more of a crowd hype/clap sort of feel. I can def imagine this song live and think it would really appeal to me then.

Martina~

Blind spot is definitely my fav song of the album, but I can't wait for you to go through the album and then drop those reviews of 5 Star and Rock Star! I'm super curious about your overall impression of both albums, both for the good and the "bad"

Ideosycrat

Love your way of putting into words what‘s so special about their music! I would add a thought that came to my mind: it feels as if they are treating the versatile voices of the members as instruments… as all 3 Racha members are singers, rappers and producers of tracks it seems to me that they are treating both voices and instruments/sources equal. In opposite to the „classical“ battle who wins: singer/songwriter or producer, they are using all their knowledge and artistry to combine to enhance their music. I would think, that’s why they are so special, there are not many people on earth who could compete with that.

Annimone

Just here to tell you that even if it takes you 13 years to get through all of Skz content I’ll still be there. Thank you for your great reactions and keep getting your mind blown 😄❤️👌
