In this release we've worked a lot on VR and trying to make the experience better for it. But there's a bunch of other stuff too. Fraenir now has a couple of skins to choose from, and Ilinir has got some new fancy hair and expressions. In addition to this, see-through and wetness are two new long awaited features that have finally been implemented.

Check out the release notes for a full report!

Fig8man

Is there a way to disable snapshot transitioning without having to edit each snapshots "transition into" field to "none" individually?

Navoa

Wow, there are no words for how nice this looks. All I can say is good job dudes, you all are awesome.

Puck.Softpaw

Gotta be the one to say it. That piggyback is one of the most awesomely adorable things I've ever seen! <3

Gryphon Stalker

I do not know why but I can not turn on VR. What am I doing wrong?

Baphomet

nice! looking forward to seeing the VR updates

WorselTheV

Wow, Ilinir's expressions are awesome. Great work with the .6 releases! If all the new characters share the same functionality the .7 release is going to be epic.

Simply starting this build with a connected VR device should be enough. Which VR device are you using?

Bazzal

Woohooo!! :D

How do I open the program without VR? I'd like to edit things but can't find a way to do it because only the VR GUI pops up. -EDIT- I unplugged my Vive from the PC to get back to the standard GUI.

For now you can disable or unplug your VR hardware. (Unfortunately Unity engine does not offer any way to circumvent VR hardware in the API.)

How about leaving the VR UI as an option even without VR? It would be way easier to access some properties (see throu is one of them atm)

TK

It's really good in VR! The only issue is that we can't fav or like things when playing with the Vive.

ryu lee

the horse's eye have an issue and the wolf spine is glitching. :(

The horse's eyes issue is fixed for the next release, but can you show us what you mean with the glitching spine for wolf?

Craket

Massive patch! Awesome! You spoiled us

It seems related to fur shading + multi threading. For now you can disable either one of them (until next patch).

nice work guys! But It would be perfect If you would integrate vive controller support. Like press the trigger to recenter, and things like that. If you watch the scene in non POV mode can you turn that dot off?

We might add Vive controller support at some point, but for now we just want to support all VR devices we can and make interfaces that work with all of them. Hm, I can probably add a toggle to the reticle. Thanks for the suggestion.

Good work, as always... But, it's really starting to feel like all your other characters have been abandoned. Those of us with little or no interest in dragons, or scalies in general, have gotten almost nothing relevant with the last several patches. It's starting to make me sad =(

Harmae

I think the "new environment" showed up in the Trello list some time ago, along with some new characters... Thy patience shall be rewarded! =)

Thanks for letting us know your concerns. The dragons have been somewhat of a milestone for us, since they provided a different set of challenges with their wings, so they've taken a longer time to implement than ordinary characters. Our next characters will go back to mammals again that aren't quite as demanding to author, so I think we'll manage to implement more characters in 0.7 than in 0.6. Also, we've been talking about taking a perhaps shorter cycle to go through and update all the old characters at some point, but nothing has been decided yet. We usually prefer to create new things than work on old stuff, but we still make an effort to update old characters to newer systems. Some examples of this is the new corrective spine system, spine driver and wrist drivers, where we actively went in and adapted the older characters to support these things. But now we've also updated the way tits works, and we definitely want to update the older character to this at some point.

RagnaBlade

I still kinda wish the Hyena was an actual character.

Subbed for VIVE support. Only beceuse you guys actaully working on it now. Keep at it devs!

Great job with the update. I noticed that some of the scenes I load up would actually freeze my game. I don't know if it is my computer or a small bug with the game. other then that I am very pleased with the direction this game is heading. amazing job and I wish you luck with the further updates to come.
