Two new guides have been added.

They both contain resources for you to download and use.

The first is a guide on using fluff better.

The second is a small guide on making Eye textures.

1. https://guide.furryvne.com/home/Character_Creation_Contents/Hair_only_using_Fluff

2. https://guide.furryvne.com/home/Character_Creation_Contents/Make_a_new_Eye_texture

In the coming days, I will add more as well as finally include "Making models with Physics" and important updates to current sections so we will be up to date with the oncoming interactions update.

For now if you care, show me some feedback in the comment section. But also, give me more ideas as to what else can be written about. Is there something in particular that the guides are missing?

Anyways, thanks and have a good day!

What I can really use is an explanation on all the different layer types, blend modes, shading modes etc. I don’t have any real experience in 3D modeling and all this terminology that I don’t know makes using FurryVNE still intimidating and confusing.

wake up babe, new fvne lore

Thanks for the updates to the Guide! I definitely needed some more tips & pointers for making fluff. I feel the official guide could still use some more work when it comes to clothing creation. More picture examples would go a long way to making it easier to grasp I think.

I can tell that you are confused because some of what you mentioned does not have to do with 3D modelling :P I definitely have to get into some detail about those blend modes, its kinda hard to explain to someone new when all you need is like 2 or 3 of them. Layer types are already mentioned but I think I know what you mean.

Noted Making a guide for creating a garment is going to be, like the last thing to make because it can be incredibly huge, and I will need to be confident in it myself and at the same time, figure out how to explain it as easy as possible. In the "Miscellaneous guides" You can find Tabbys Guide collection, click through there and you should find a perserved guide made by Blacky. Hes currently the cloth expert of the community, and ive come to ask him for tips at times.

Ninjamurai

Yeah no worries, all the new interaction specific information should definitely come first!

THe GERio

That's all summed up pretty nicely!
