Week 16 of development completed!

This week I feel like I didn't get much done, but at the same time it's a little strange. On the one hand, I made progress on the new game. Although not enough to have a playable build yet, I apologize for that. It got complicated because I had to make the code from zero in certain parts, the debuff system for pulling off combos correctly was complicated to program, but I managed to get it to properly affect the turns bar now (plus, it’s designed to be balanceable in the future).

So, while you might think progress was minimal this week, I just remembered that I took a break on Monday and Tuesday, though it wasn’t much of a break since I worked on the World Cup illustration of Raiden and Yae. I’m almost done with the alternate versions for Patreon, I just got motivated, and David is going to draw backgrounds for them.

Yesterday I wanted to de-stress from the whole issue of the code not working, so I started drawing. My plan was just to do a simple sketch of Arlecchino, but as I kept drawing, I realized I wanted to keep going, and I ended up staying up late finishing the drawing.

I posted them to the previews channel on Discord. I know it’s not technically a preview, but it’s more convenient for everyone to view the drawings there. At first I wanted to draw a single pose, but as I kept drawing, I wanted to do something similar to what I did with a drawing I made of Alexis a while back, so I did a mini-sketch of a blowjob in the corner xD

Next week I’ll get back to working on ST, with Chapter 2 focusing on Yae. If you have any ideas for the control minigame, I’d appreciate it (it has to be programmable, by the way xD). Chapter 2 might be split into 2 or 3 parts, depending on how much content I end up adding. That said, I won’t leave Raiden out, even if the chapter is about Yae.

I think that’s it for this week. As you can see, there isn’t much tangible progress, but hey, at least I gave you two extra illustrations, I want to give more Patreon rewards like that, in the future I'll make a poll to choose a character and draw a mini comic each month. (Please be patient with me, I’d like to get a lot more done, too.) See you next week!
