Devlog #70 | Fixing Crimson Prison Bugs (Patreon)
Content
As you know, I’m working on fixing Crimson Prison bugs to ensure a more stable release.
One of the issues I was aware of but could never do anything about was the notification queue. Honestly, there wasn’t any major reason why it wasn’t fixed earlier. It wasn’t because I didn’t want to or because I was lazy— I simply didn’t know how to do it. I lacked the knowledge.
Previously, the notification queue would display a message, keep it on screen for 3.25 seconds, then remove it and show the next one in line.
Now, the notification queue has been fixed!
Several notifications will appear on the screen depending on their type: warnings, mission updates, etc. Afterward, they will be automatically removed after 3.25 seconds. BUT if, for some reason, like in the previous system, a notification gets stuck on the screen and won’t disappear, you can now click on it to manually remove it! Say goodbye to annoying stuck notifications!
I’ll continue testing, but for now, this system works way better than the old one!
