You arrive at the vast obsidian pyramid. The pieces of the artifact in your bag seem to hum with power as you approach. While you fully expect this to be a trap your unsure how best to deal with it.

Following your guide down darkened halls and vast empty spaces you eventually arrive at the central audience chamber. At the top of a plinth sits a desiccated, blackened shape. With some whispered words from the guide the form moves. Floating slowly down to in front of you.

Closer to your torch, you can make out its features. The flesh and bone and clothing all seem mixed. The only distinct feature you can see is a single eye at the centre of his forehead. He opens and extends a palm toward you.

You look at the guide who is cowering on the ground. "You guarantee this will get me home and that my world will be safe?"

The black pharo answers in his stead. "You have the word bond of the black pharo. You and your world will remain unharmed. You will return there unscathed... it is written. With another hand the pharo points to the walls showing your every action these days... along with the final picture... your return home."

You wince... feeling the wrongness of this action waring with your desire to return home. You sigh defeated. Handing over the pieces...

Ooh, really digging the way this one looks - now I just need to figure out how to paint this one to fit my WW2 era Egyptian Mythos campaign that I've got planned out for my group. Loved the snake men (children of Yig) too, so I'm adding them into the campaign as well. I love creating events in my campaigns where the players need to navigate between two hostile forces duking it out! Such delicious chaos!
