The young Puppet Maker (Patreon)

As soon as the town square comes into view, your heroic charge slows… before you instead of a scene of carnage and loss of innocence. You see a small seated crowd watching a show tent… that had seen better days. As you approach, you sheath your weapons as not to draw the attention of the towns folk.

The show is simple… crude even, but possessed of a certain charm. After the conclusion, two figures immure from behind the tent to a round of applause.

The first, a young human boy. Dressed in a strange garment of webbing and pockets in his hands he holds two control crosses. Obviously the young maker of the puppet show.
