The young maker screamed… 

Suddenly, something huge charged from his tent. The form smashed into the side of the remnant before its claws and beak tore chunks from its side. The creature stood tall, defending its master. To your awe, you see what could only be an owl bear. But not of flesh and blood… one of cloth and stitches. 

The fight lasted well into the morning, but eventually you were victorious. You speak with the young maker again… this time asking him directly about the puppet master. He explains his wizard master was studying a skull topped sceptre before he died. And that the owl bear was his final creation to defend me. 

In the end, you decide to find the sceptre in the wizard's old keep. For with it still existing… the puppet master will keep coming back.
