Beholder Voodoo Puppet (Patreon)

Lucky fell eventually, but it took a lot out of your team. You decide to return to town to then work out where to go next. As you arrive, you hear the sounds of screaming as plumes of smoke hang above the town.

Fatigued, you still charge in… to your horror you see a massive construct. Formed from roughly stitched cloth and buttons, it looks like a crude representation of a beholder. As you begin to fight it, one of your party strikes a critical blow, knocking the main button loose.

What you see turns your stomach. Beneath the cloth is the madly staring eye… of a real beholder.
