Midas - Dragon Born (Patreon)

Finally, you reach the centre of this realm of gold. You are bought before, a figure in regal gold and royal blue. He steps forward and looks to Björn.

"Ah you succeed yet again my subject. You bring more to the kingdom of Midas..." Björn steps forward and bows before this golden figure. "One is already willing"

You watch in horror as one of your party walks forward. You wince, realizing that the coins you accepted must have been a trap.

The dragon speaks again, "good. Welcome, young one... the philosopher's stone I wield will grant you a form most pleasing." from behind his back, Midas brings forward a large jewel pulsating with an unnatural light and weeping liquid gold from its underside.

All in the chamber are entranced by it. The distraction gives you an opportunity to escape. Can you break out your friends from this trance and save them too?
