The Hounds of Anubis (Patreon)

Whilst sailing to distant lands, torrential weather damaged your ship. Lucky, the captain was able to bring the ship into safe harbour to make repairs. The captain informed you this would take some time as the damage was extensive.

In the meantime, you decide to explore the port. The port is nestled within a large bastion surrounded by dunes on all sides. The local language is unknown to you, but you get by with the proper application of silver and gold coins.

Strangely, while you explore, you notice strange black hounds following you at a distance. Their ceremonial collars and clean fur setting them apart from the normal street dogs. Somehow, you get the feeling that the storm wasn't entirely coincidental.
