One of the guards speaks to you, but only your parties wizard understands. Speaking an ancient dialect, the guard explains we have been summoned as potently worthy souls by the grand judge for a vital role. 

The guard waving his staff moves the very dunes around you to reveal an ancient stone circle. Another guard walks to it, pressing various glifts till the portal erupts with a glowing light. 

The guard gives you a choice, follow... or be left here for the desert to judge. With little real choice, you follow through the portal.
