Illusion Beast (Patreon)

Turns out, we were dealing with some kind of were-illusion beast. The creature's preternatural talents for deception had kept it well hidden until then. We believe it became more emboldened from its successes, in the end falling to its own hubris.

Defeating the creature was no small feat. We relied heavily on potions of true sight to see through all the creature's deceptions. Perception, brothers and sisters, you cannot easily kill what you cannot see.
